  • Pretty good pens!
I like the smooth ink and Most of the inks were great and deep enough. Except a few. I added pictures of the inks below.

  • Smooth flow and fast drying for lefties like me
I use pens a lot and I surveyed friends for their favorite flowing pen, especially for ones that dry fast so that I don't get the lefty smear across the page (and on my hand). These Uniball Jetstreams were the top ones recommended and I've been using them ever since. They do write more smoothly than most ball points I've tried--in fact, it's hard to go back to other pens after these. The ink dries fast enough that I don't smear it usually. I like that I can buy refills, but wish they had easily accessible refills in more colors (it's hard to find any but blue or black). What usually happens is that I usually go through a couple refills per pen until the pen clip breaks off (from clipping it on folders), leaving a very sharp metal edge, which I put tape around to keep from cutting myself. Eventually I am tired of the crumbling tape and just order a new pack of pens instead of refills. I'd rather just buy the refills and save money and minimize garbage, but the clip needs to be stronger for that. The photo shows pens in these two stages, and includes the same pen in the capped version of this pen, which is less convenient than the clicker kind, and also seems to flow a bit less smoothly for lefties, who are pushing, rather than pulling, the pen from left to right. Overall, it's my first choice--even better than some fancy-pricey pens I was gifted--for most writing tasks. ... show more

  • Skipping so soon?
First, let me just say that I love Jetstream Ballpoint pens, especially the bold (1mm) point kind. The ink is dark and usually smooth. Maybe I just got a set of faulty pens, but I've had problems with two or three out of the five already, having to press harder and move the nib over the paper again and again to make a mark; and I haven't even had these pens ten whole days yet. I'm just disappointed is all. I usually don't have this problem with Jetstream Ballpoints, and I don't think I should have it all for this price. I have less trouble with my Bic Round Stic Xtra Life ballpoints, but nothing lays down a line as bold and clear as a Jetstream. In general, I find the retractable version of these pens to be more problematic than the stick pens with covers. And the retractable 0.7mm Jetstream Ballpoint pens are the worst of the bunch in this respect. Anyway, the pens are great, but why have they started skipping so soon? ... show more

  • Uni-ball has another winner on its hands.
So if you have pen addiction habit black, blue and even colored pens can become boring fast. So what better way to branch out than black with mixed in colors. I will admit I thought it was a gimmick. But I was very surprised, white, cream or beige paper the ink really popped off the page and the underlying colors made it fun without being to garish or out of place for office use. I purchased a second pack because people all of a sudden had no pens of their own and need to borrow mine o_O ... show more

  • I wanted to love them but…
I am addicted to these pens. I adore my black and blue ones. I didn’t expect (but hoped for) super vibrant colors since it is mixed with black ink, but most of these just look like off color black. The pens write beautifully, but don’t expect fun colors.

  • The two most important colors are very off!
I bought these pens for revising a novel on paper. The brand is a favorite. I was looking forward to a few new colors, but was waiting for red, yellow and blue. Unfortunately the red is a strange dark brown, and the yellow is another dark brown. I cant really tell the blue and green apart. If I could return these I would. Some things I guess you just need to get at a store to make sure the colors are correct. Otherwise they write smoothly and don’t bleed through. ... show more

  • The best pens to grace our planet
Having traversed the universe I have searched far and wide for that perfect pen. Don't know If I'll ever get there, but it seems this is as close as I've gotten. The dark beautiful colors these paint on the page as I write to the lizard overlords emphasizes my messages that the planet is ready to be taken over. I use red for the urgent messages, green for correspondence with the space force, blue and purple when writing to my beautiful alien wife, and black for drawing out our military plans. Yellow for the occasional highlight in the plans but it doesn't get used as much as the others. I would recommend. 10/10 ... show more

  • These pens for real
After 40 years of writing, I had finally had enough of blue ink, black ink, red ink. I wanted black ink that was kind of brownish, or maybe greenish. And that is exactly what I found in the Jetstream Infusion pens, along with purplish (which I didn't like and gave to my boss's boss, who had admired it, and maybe I scored a few work points) along with blueish and reddish. When you combine these odd colors with the Jetstream writing performance--finest in the world of inexpensive pens--you've got, if not a winner, at least something or other. That's what I'm saying. ... show more
