I bought this to get my power strip and plugs off the floor because I have an older dog with dementia who goes under my desk and steps on it or gets stuck in the cords. It's great to get the power strip off the floor, it is wide enough to hold a double-wide power strip, and it can be mounted to the underside of the desk or to the wall. It does not, however, provide cable management (it's not meant to) so remember that when you order. You'll still need other things to manage all the loose cables. The only thing that could use some improvement is that the screws are really super short which is probably fine if you're screwing it into a solid wood desk or studs, but not the wall directly. I did not use the anchors (my fault - dumb, I know) and quickly pulled it out of the wall when I plugged something in and had to press down to get the plug to go into the socket. These were simple to screw into the bottom of my work surface. I like the open mesh approach, so that cables can approach from any direction. My only issue with them is that they are really too small for the job. Where I am using it to hold a power strip, there isn't enough room for all of the plugs without bumping the work surface above or overflowing to the side. I am also using one for a small network switch and a USB docking station. In both cases, their just isn't enough room for the device and the cables connected to them. It is working, but everything is hanging over. It does keep my cords out of site, but it would be better if they were maybe 50% wider and taller. ... show more

This Should be a five star review, this product is great for my setup. all of my wires are hidden unless you spend the energy to look under the desk. the only issues i had was installing them. It isnt ideal if you are mounting under something. most drills and screwdrivers wont fit unless you wave a long bit or bit holder. So if the only way to go is to mount under to a desk then make sure you have one of those handy. Also the tray is too small for more wider power strips and surge protectors to lay flat. this isnt too much of a big deal for me but i know it would bother some people. Really like these. I set them up toward the back of the desk and snaked all the wires through as well as put the the power strip on the shelf part and now my desk area looks clean and neat and my feet aren’t hitting the wires. The baskets are sturdy enough to support all the cables and accessory equipment. My only feedback would be for the baskets to be slightly more narrow to better fit under the desk. Once installed they stuck out approximately 1/2", so I used some boards and a vice to bend the edge in. Not sure why the lower tray slopes out so much except to potentially catch any objects that fall behind the desktop. ... show more

Once installed plugs cannot stand upright, had to lay sideways which made these difficult to hide. Also tried fitting a standard surge protector as this is what all plugs plug into. Tried insert into the basket but basket is both too shallow and too short to handle this most basic, yet essential device. Not recommended. ... show more

I used this to move an outlet strip and two power bricks off my desk and out of sight underneath the desk. I attached mine using a power screw gun and some self-tapping screws to attach this. You need to be careful to choose screws that are long enough to carry the weight but not so long that they poke through the top of the desk. Highly recommended. ... show more
