I am glad I purchased this item. I like not having cords showing behind the countertops. The lights are rechargeable. The charge lasts about 2-3 days on auto before needing to be recharged. The lights will begin to dim at the charge gets lower. This is a good indication for when the light will need a recharge. This installation is very simple. These LED lites work well. My kitchen had no lights under the cabinets. These fit the bill. Magnetic plates are great. Pictures are of kitchen before and after. Liked them so much I purchased some for my closet. Highly recommend these lights.

The lights are hard-wired and I like that. I don't want to have to remember to charge under-cabinet lights. These lights are not motion sensor. We turn them on and off. Sticky pads are furnished to stick the dimming controller and the power supply to the underside of the cabinets. The pads are sufficient for the dimming controller but the sticky pads are not strong enough to hold the weight of the power supply to the bottom of the cabinet (nor is the extra sticky tape that is supplied). I will have to use a strap or zip tie to mount the power supply to the bottom of the cabinet due to this flaw. The mounting clips that are supplied for the lights work fine and are easy to install. There are two extension cords included which adequately covered the space across the sink area of the cabinets. Overall these are quality lights that do a very good job of lighting up my under-cabinet space. The first set of lights I received had a flaw with one of the lights. The seller was extremely accommodating and immediately sent us another set of lights. I am happy with the lights and the seller but do advise that a sufficient means is found to mount the power supply under the cabinets instead of the sticky pads that do not hold the weight. ... show more

I used to have some Ikea puck lights under my kitchen cabinets. About a month ago I replaced them with this set of lights which are much brighter. These were very easy to install. The hardest part was scrubbing the underside of the cabinets before installing the new lights. I used the double sided clear tape that came with the lights and it has stuck quite well. Then my Aerogarden led grow light hood died. It is 6 years old so it is long out of warranty. I tried replacing the led driver but that didn't bring it back to life. So I decided to buy another set of under cabinet lights for the Aerogarden. I took out the aluminum panel of leds but re-used the clear plastic panel that had been over it. I used the clear mounting tape to stick all six lights to the plastic panel and fed the wires to the back of the panel and secured them with the little clips that came with the light set. Then I screwed the clear panel to the black hood housing and took a picture. The adapter for the new lights now sits behind the Aerogarden and the power cord from the Aerogarden base that used to go into the led panel fits into the adapter for the new lights. So the Aerogarden controls the on/off cycle of the new lights. I constantly use the Aerogarden to start new lettuce plants and switch them to shelves lit with led shoplights to grow to maturity so I am not worried about these new lights not being grow lights. ... show more
