This jacket is lightweight & not bulky. It keeps my son warm, but I wouldn't suggest it for people living in areas with extremely cold winters. Its a little thin but I think the price is fare. I like that the pockets button & my absolute favorite part is the hood...there is no tie, button etc and it still stays up without having to look at the floor! This jacket is perfect thickness for cold neither too weightless nor too heavy. The black and camou design is so pretty, the stitching, the zipper and fabric is good quality. Love this jacket for my 7 year old son. It’s lightweight but still pretty warm. I wouldn’t use it for your sole winter jacket but definitely for cooler weather. Fit is great and the hood is large!

    • Picky 12 year old approved!
I purchased this for my 12 year old boy for Ohio winters. First, it is a struggle to get my son to even wear a coat, so when he agreed to the purchase of this one, I was ecstatic. I was even happier when he said he liked it! He got the gray which is a really nice color. My son is a taller boy who currently is wearing XL or size 18 shirts. The sleeves on this are a nice length. I wish they were a tad bit longer, but they definitely work. He said the coat itself is longer than he'd like, but I think it's a good length to keep him warm. It's currently 0 degrees outside, and he said the coat kept him as warm as a coat could in this weather! My only personal complaint is the hood seems a bit shallow. I also wish that part was bigger. Anything my picky 12 year old approves automatically gets 5 stars! ... show more
