I have always done my own acrylic nails, and decided to try full cover gel nails. You don't need to file these unless you want/need to; I have very small fingernails so I did need to file a few. Make sure you use a good gel glue and an "open finger" uv lamp. Watch a few tutorials on full cover gel nails too, so you know what to expect. These are pretty strong but flexible too. A very good price and variety of sizes. This seller provides several shapes and lengths, all extremely affordable. These are great nails for anyone new and venturing into saving themselves a little time and money at the salon. I appreciate the nail salons and people working, but listen..these days are about saving where I can. There are some nails that are too narrow for me to use. And these say short, but for me they are long. That's okay bc you can file them to fit and trim and file to shape! Polish looks fabulous on them. They feel great and sturdy. First time applying nails at home, I wanted something to fully cover my nails (hoping to help some bad splits grow out) that I could paint myself with my Mooncat collection. These were easy to identify the right size and apply. I did have to file the tips a bit after they were on (not sure if that’s normal or not), but they filed easily. The took my lacquer well and look absolutely beautiful. I’ve had two come off so far, but I attribute that to the glue/user error, and was able to glue them back on. So far they seem pretty durable. My first impressions of the product - very easy to apply and cures VERY quickly. It says on the product page that it cures in 10 seconds but then also says 45 seconds. 10 whole seconds WILL set it and it is very difficult to correct after so make sure that the nail is where you want it. The glue cures like a rubber. Thus if you have any that came out from the nail, it will pick up dirt and look awful (refer to pic) if you intended to leave them clear - I wouldn’t like I said they pick up a lot of dirt and color even under the nail. I haven’t painted mine yet. I put these on yesterday and it took me about 30 minutes. I’ve had no issue with the hold yet it claims to hold for up to 30 days! I decided to try press-ons after repeatedly breaking a nail and have been hooked since. I bought various shapes and sizes of Una Gella tips to design my own. The Extra Small Almond are very similar to how I used to keep my natural nails. I can use my normal nail polish on them when I have free time, and just pop a different set on when I want to change the color. Because I paint them and leave them on a stand to dry, I'm saved the frustration of accidentally messing up fresh polish on my hands right before I have to be somewhere. They are very comfortable, sturdy, and don't interfere with daily activities. The bottom part of the nails is pretty wide and may need filed to fit. ... show more

I got these because it said they were flatter with less c-curve but that isn’t the case at all. I can barely get them to stay on my nails because the curve doesn’t fit my nails. I was also disappointed with the sizing, it’s like they’re all a half size off from most other brands. I also was sad to see that even though the picture and description were for coffin (vs ballerina, which they had another listing for that was distinctly different), these are definitely still more straight and narrow (aka ballerina) than I wanted. I used to be up for 2-3 hours doing my nails. These are so fast and easy! I was done in just over an hour! They seem very sturdy. I am so excited to see how long these last, I am also new to this shape but I'm in love! I will be ordering more in different shapes just to mix it up. LOVE!!!

Did all the prep work on my nail and we actually used a little too much on the first couple of nails but it any hard to clean up and it’s been almost 2 weeks and my nails are still on nice and tight. Also used this brand of almond shaped nail tips and they’re adorable and feel amazing also!
