Overall, I love these cooking utensils. They include utensils I never even knew I was missing, and that I can no longer imagine cooking without. They have a nice heft in the hand, and nothing seems to stick to them, even including tomato sauces that dye other utensils red. The set includes everything the average cook is likely to use, even a basting brush, and the fats do not stick to that, either. My sole quibble with this set is that it is not terribly elegant to look at -- rather clunky -- but then, silicone is what it is, and, unlike some plastics, these are supposed to be safe to cook with. I’ve used them only a few days but the spatulas and spoons hold up well lifting foods with weight. I was prepared for them to be flimsy but they aren’t. I am very impressed with the entire set. I tossed all my black plastic utensils and chose this set instead.

They weren't my first choice but decided to check them out since the price was nice. They're aesthetically decent, but the "holder" they came with was trash, which is where it ended up. It wasn't big enough to hold the utensils, and the plastic was really cheap, and it just didn't "match" the set well... So I had to buy the one you see in the pictures. The utensils can stain if what you're cooking/serving has a tomato or red chilli pepper base, so be careful and wash them immediately after using. Also I would NOT recommend washing them in the dishwasher, because the wood handles don't hold up well. The tongs are almost useless, they just don't grip anything well. The four stars is because of the aesthetics and the sturdiness of the actual utensils. ... show more

Had to throw out all my black plastic ones as received an urgent notice: "plastic products — often made from plastics recovered from recycled electronic waste — can be toxic." Imagine!! They say the heat and acid in foods brings out toxin. Also in children's toys, etc. Just received these today and I am so impressed. Impressed at how many for the money, as well as impressed with the quality. I was about to pick up some new measuring spoons and they were in there too along with a whisk the size I use all the time. The spoons could be just a wee bit deeper, but all in all, great set. Now that I have used them, discovered the sizes on measuring cups and spoons is so tiny, for me at least, I'll have to put size on each with Sharpie. ... show more

I got this set because it was of good quality and price amongst the oceans of utensil sets. It contains all of the utensils I was looking for, as well as the nice cup to store them in. They do feel very solid, I can tell they won’t bend easily. The silicone and wood are good quality too. The silicone is thick and sturdy not flimsy like some. However, I am upset by the color inconsistency between the listing image and the actual product. I ordered the blue color, expecting a pretty lighter blue tone, but what I got was a dark teal…not even close. This is a gift for my Mom for Christmas hopefully she likes this color too!
