This phone is nice and I loved the case that came with it, but the phone is only compatible with one American network, AT&T, which is too speedy for my budget. I had to return it. They lie when they say it's compatible with most networks in USA, as it might be in Europe or Asia instead. I'd like to know why they sell it in the American market if its not compatible with American networks, but one. ... show more

This phone like many from this company are more tailored to the budget side and the budget market but that does not mean they skimp on important features like quick charging a sturdy body and the newest and bloat free version of Android the camera on this phone isn't anything spectacular however it is an upgrade over most phones you can find inside of a store like a Walmart or a Target the battery life on it is spectacular it can last almost up to two days without needing charged and comes with plenty of storage out of the box so that you can put as many games as your heart wants on there. The only real cons of this phone are the camera quality considering the price and potentially the ram but overall functionality of the phone is Rock solid game performance is pretty good for the processor and the ram that this phone is equipped with.     • Fingerprint sensor/reader failed at ONE WEEK!!!
I rely on the fingerprint sensor/reader to unlock my phone every single time I use it, so to have one totally fail at ONE WEEK of use is a complete deal breaker. Yep, after one week of use this thing was no longer registering fingerprints at all, in fact the phone stopped recognizing that it even had a fingerprint sensor on board, which points to it being a hardware issue that can't be fixed at home. If you search for "umidigi power 5 fingerprints not working", you will see that this is a common issue with this phone as well as other Umidigi models. Besides, even when the little side-mounted fingerprint reader was functional (for 6 days), it was very hit-or-miss when using it, so it was clear that this phone probably wouldn't have been a good long-term investment. The other major gripe with the phone is the notifications/call volume being the same setting, so if you want notifications to be silent but still would like to hear incoming calls, you have to adjust the settings for every single app to be silent and low-priority... no idea if this is the standard on new phones, but my old phone had a separate slider for notification volume. As a bit of a sidenote, you will have to install an alternative app launcher if you wish to not have a big, ugly Google search bar right on your home screen, because this phone is intended to be used entirely with Google products out of the box. Also, the point needs to be made that the battery is certainly not 3 days... in fact I'm charging it regularly every day unless I want to be below 50% on day 2... and this is on light-to-intermediate usage mostly involving offline music playback. It's a shame they couldn't get this phone right for me, but I will say; if you don't need a fingerprint reader or silent notifications, this is a pretty good phone for the price point. The display, performance, and built-in thermometer are all big positives. For me, however, it was a failed attempt to save some money and now I will have to go with a more expensive phone from a name brand, which hopefully won't fail in quite so many ways... ... show more

This is a very nice phone. Battery lasts a long time and pictures come up pretty good for the price point. Strength is definitely the battery, that lasts a long time. Software works pretty well, not the fastest but not even the slowest. I use it to play with sim City build and it works just fine. Some lag in general but nothing too much, especially considering the price point. I would recommend this as a first phone or to someone that do not run too many applications at the same time. Works well on T-Mobile/Mint. I always recommend this brand to family and friends that don't want to break the bank 🙂 ... show more

I bought this phone from Amazon as a gift to someone leaving overseas. The phone has all kinds of issues ( constantly going off,touch not responding, battery issue , apps disfunctioning ,etc ) I tried to return but walmart refused to take it back.

I've been using this phone for 10 days and I love it so far. My overall impression with this phone is pretty good. Opening the case, the phone feels quick light despite the pretty generous dimensions with typical Android 11 setup. The only thing I dislike is the fingerprint reader on the side. It works pretty well but still needs some upgrade for the next version. Camera and picture handling is pretty good, the 3 lens comb is great. Battery life is quite good. The screen is pretty wide and I love that it is big and bright even in the sun. Also, it has a physical headset jack. The phone is fairly fast, the battery does last a pretty long time with USB C and this charges quickly. A Micro memory card gets inserted on the same adapter with a SIM card, which works well assuming you don't intend to physically remove that card very often. It was pretty easy transferring all the data from my old phone. thumbs up!!! ... show more
