This phone was for a child to begin with that we had no intention on adding a number to, so we didn't have high expectations or care about camera quality, etc. However, we weren't even sent a working phone. First the phone wouldn't connect to WiFi, I contacted the company who sold the phone and after NUMEROUS emails back and forth - there was zero done to replace or fix the phone. Another month later and the charging port just breaks off and now the phone is useless. So not only was my son's Christmas present half broken when he got it (unable to connect to wifi - which is why we bought it as we weren't going to put a number on it) - now we are almost to April and the phone is completely toast. Can't even turn it on. Contacted the company and got no help. We ended up having to escalate the case through Amazon, where they had to step in as the seller gave no help for the situation at all. I did buy two and the other phone works okay-ish, it may be a faulty one. But the point is they never cared to replace it! ... show more

This phone sounds great on paper, and for the price its hard to beat for the specs provided. there are some quirks though. First off, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it comes with Android 13, which is a nice touch. It's always good to have the latest software. Now, let's talk about the performance. The 3GB of RAM is a bit on the lower side, and the G1 Plus did stutter occasionally between menus. It's not a deal-breaker, but it can be a little annoying at times. the screen is decent, but not overly bright or high resolution. firmly in the serviceable bracket. One thing to note is that while it does come with a charger, don't expect any fast charging capabilities here. You'll need some patience when refueling. it also seems to charge extra slow when using a usb C to usb C cable. The software is mostly stock, but UMIDIGI has added some apps that I personally didn't care for. The phone also has a habit of freezing certain apps to save memory, which can lead to missed notifications. Not the best user experience, to be honest. this can be turned off, but I don think freezing unused apps should be default. On the plus side, the G1 Plus worked perfectly fine on my AT&T network, and the camera is serviceable. It won't give you flagship-level photos, but it gets the job done for everyday snaps. In terms of build quality, the G1 Plus feels a bit cheap and the overall performance is a tad slow. However, considering the price point, it could make a decent backup phone or be a suitable option for an older parent or someone who doesn't demand much from their smartphone. This cell phone would be a good phone to use for anyone on a strict budget. It's nothing fancy. It's not 5G. Out of the box it has 3GB of Ram and 32GB Rom. In the setting you can add 2GB more Ram by borrowing 2GB of storage space making it 5GB Ram and 30GB storage. It does run Android 13 and has a dual sim tray. You can expand your storage by adding a TF card in your dual sim tray. The touchscreen is very responsive and the screen size is about the same as a OnePlus 9 phone's screen. Honestly this really isn't too shabby of a phone for a budget phone. Also, with it's inexpensive price it wouldn't be a bad phone to have as a back up in case your main phone breaks. Comes with a soft case and a USB Type C charging cord including the plug for it. Shipping was 4 days and item was packed very well arriving with zero damage. ... show more
