After a month using this phone, I think the phone works great as an entry level work horse. The battery lasts at least 2 days with good amount of use. The screen is bright in the daylight, perhaps too bright in the evening. Will need to try those apps that can dim the screen further. Operation feels quick and responsive thanks to its 8G of RAM. The size of the phone is good for mid to large hand. Easy to grip it firmly, especially with the case (included) on. Though I doubt anyone can use this phone with one hand. The build quality feel good. With the case, i have no doubt it will survice a few drops. Two negative points are, 1. the screen is quite reflective so it's some times hard to read. 2. the headphone and speaker are not the best for call quality, so a bluetooth earphone is perhaps a better option. Overall, It's another great product from Umidigi. I've had their phone in the past and glad to see they are making better entry level priced phones.     • DO NOT BUY!!! Slow and continually over heats
I have had the phone less than a year. The phone is very slow and unresponsive. It continually overheats to the point it can not be touched and it shuts down. Now it has simply stopped charging. The microphones are worthless, no one can hear me unless I use headphones. Overall its a poor phone. When I contacted Umidigi customer service they replied in Chinese!!! You will not get support for Umidigi products. ... show more

    • Super phone for th money
I purchased this phone after a long search due to a limited budget to replace my iPhone. I did my research and this had all I wanted and more. The brand is well known all over the world except the USA but is compatible with many carriers in the USA, however you need to be a dyed in the wool android person tech wise with experience to take advantage of all of it's goodness and abilities. Unfortunately this nearly 80 year old Granny isn't BUT, I can recognize a really good thing when I see it . If you read the stats it's comparable to the Samsung A15 and then some. Unfortunately as much as I wished I were android compatible, I discovered my old brain was just too Apple oriented from day one of my entry into the world of computer technology. I tried, but the old silver maned mare just "ain't what she use to be when it comes to learning (and remembering) new technology and to be honest, too lazy to want to learn "new tricks '. Gotta go with what I know. So with the sadness of defeat I returned it; BUT for any and all Android users This phone is well worth giving a try, backed by good customer service at the manufacturer level and it's techs .     • Only one real drawback (LTE only) and an annoyance
The phone is light but has good battery life: two full days of moderate use for me. The screen is a bit on the dark side but because the battery life is good, there is no issue with cranking the brightness higher than I am used to. I still get two full days of moderate use. Performance is pretty snappy for this price category. The flagships will be quicker of course but will also cost way more so that would not be a fair comparison. LTE is reliable and quick. Voice quality for calls is good but not awesome, as expected for a cell phone, and the camera for me has similarly been good but not awesome. There is a headphone jack! For me, the only real downside is that the phone is LTE only. The LTE on the phone works very well but still, that is as good as it will get. The minor annoyance is that the purple color is a very light lavender, not what I thought it would be. ... show more

This is a great phone and I bought four of them to give them to different members of my family and all of them love it. It has a lot of memory so that is great for my younger cousins that are always downloading different apps and videos. It is also big and solid, that is something my grandmother appreciate.     • Fickle charger
I've had my cell phone for over a month and my biggest issue with it is that sometimes it doesn't charge at all. Ive had to go to YouTube to troubleshoot and even the YouTuber said not to purchase this brand of phone because of battery issue.

Bought two phones, one black and one purple. The screen is very bright and the phone is loud. For the price of this phone so far we are happy with it. No one should complain either this is a great buy and it came quick. I use prepaid at&t and it works fine. At&t sent a message saying it doesn't work on their network just ignore the text. TIP! Set up your phone first with no SIM card. DO it with Wi-Fi, when the setup is done and you've tested out some apps etc.. over the wifi and then turn off the phone(also turn off your original phone before removing the sim) and insert your SIM card into the new phone. Then you turn the new phone back on. Your should have no problems with your phone. It's always the carrier, not the phone. ... show more
