    • Long and short rods come with different hardware

I had measured my curtains for a bath window, 2 small windows and one large window all along the same wall and it turns out the long curtain rod came with completely different installation hardware so the measurements I made before had to be completely redone. The good thing is they are pretty much covered by the curtains and do not show. Otherwise it would be really ugly. The long rods came with brackets that had an open mouth to hold the rod whereas the short rods came with brackets that were closed ring where you had to string the rod through the bracket. The worst part is the brackets are not the same length so the height of installation of the brackets have to be adjusted. I would have definitely returned it if the brackets were visible after I installed the curtains because they are just too different. You would think same company same line, order placed on the same day would come with some sort of standard. ... show more

Unfortunately the top screw cannot be screwed in entirely using a drill because the design of the ring interferes. This causes the rod to not be study.

I ordered 19 of these same rods in different lengths. When they arrived they came in the same size boxes with no size label. I started installing some and realized that they are for a different window and had to open all and lay them all out to determine which ones go to which windows and re-measure everything. The product is fine, but just that; fine. It’s hard to drill the anchors into the wall because the loop that the rod fits into is fixed and in the way of the drill. ... show more

I only needed about 70 inches but the 66 was too small so I used this without the middle piece and it was perfect. The middle bracket isn't the full circle which is easier for install so I was ok with that difference from the photo, but the holes on the half circle brackets are in different places so beware in planning your install. I bought another one this size from BB&B with a coupon for just over $25 with a coupon and the quality was better. The finials on the Amazon version are a composite/rubber/plastic or something.
