IMPORTANT: - For pregnancy test on large dogs we suggest you the V16 with convex probe instead of V16 with micro-convex probe. - Our ultrasound’s mainboard was designed to process ultrasound images, it works stable in the long run and offers great image quality thanks to the 16 chipsets for image processing. - This is a standalone ultrasound which doesn’t rely on Apps for mobile devices to work. - For dog pregnancy test you should wait between 25 to 34 days (depending on dog size) before you can count the puppies. The media could not be loaded. I do like this product it’s simple easy to use. If you don’t wanna have to do a lot of extra stuff is just looking for pregnancy it seems to be easy, user-friendly the book makes it harder than it really is so user guide could be better more clearer, more step-by-step that I would change Price was OK I mean years ago the same product was like 700 bucks now you know 2000 but I have used this very one before of a friends and it worked effectively with alcohol or the actual ultrasound gel so yes I recommend it I do like it. I loved this product but almost immediately it started to freeze up and need to be restarted multiple times. I ordered another unit and sent this one back to Amazon and after a week of them receiving the initial, I have yet to see my refund. I spoke to customer service and apparently they have 30 days to refund the money back even though I sent the item back and they had received it according to my tracking info. It’s completely unfair of them to hold my money for so long when there is already proof that they received the item. I’ll never buy a bigger ticket item through Amazon. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Shipping was quick and the ultrasound machine with the micro convex probe were well packaged. The Ultrasound machine comes with a hard plastic case with foam to keep it secure when not in use or traveing. I was able to plug and play. I purchased this to confirm canine pregnancies. I am very pleased with the ease of use as I am a complete newbie to canine ultrasounds. I was able to locate the bladder and then moved the probe straight up toward the rib cage and slightly side to side. To arrive at the sacks. Some of the blur is from my yorkies hair. I would suggest shaving the belly down first. You will need to purchase ultrasound gel as it does not come with the machine. I would most definitely recommend getting this ultrasound machine. Being a breeder of 10 years... I would advise all newbies to not wait as long as I did to purchase one of these!!! ... show more

    • Very grainy and hard to see
I bought this machine because of the reviews. I wanted to scan awhile to give a true review. It’s very hard to read and very grainy. I even joined an ultrasound site for input on readings. Several have the same machine and all say the same. The group as a whole can’t read the results because of it’s grainyness. I tried reaching out to the manufacturer but didn’t get any help. I would save my money and find a better machine so you can get the results you are hoping for. ... show more

I can not be more pleased with this product. I purchased it based on previous reviews and so happy I pulled the trigger. I have zero experience using this and the instruction guide provided little support. I was lucky enough to find a you tube video of the exact model which was a complete game changer. I attempted to use on my pregnant Rottweiler without shaving her stomach and didn’t have any results. The next day I went and purchased grooming clippers and shaved down the belly and could see clear babies. I’m not experienced enough to count them but this is perfect for confirmation of pregnancy. This was definitely worth the money and comes highly recommended. I was pleasantly surprised with this product. My Rottweiler is an very large girl at 115 lbs and this worked like a charm. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this machine as a referral from a close friend and as miniature dachshund breeder. I am completely new to this machine and ultrasounds in general, but this machine comes just about plug n play ready. Love the picture and quality for the $$. My only request would be some type of stand so you could preform tasks single handed. ... show more

    • Screen is grainy
This machine is decent but I could not get a good enough picture with my bulldog. I read the adding the linear probe would help clarify the picture but the screen is still grainy and for another $600 I didnt see it as valuable enough to use it again. I still had to take the dog to the vet to verify pregnancy. I will purchase another ultrasound but probably going to have to dig a little deeper in the pocket for something with better quality. ... show more
