Bought this one after our VPCOK brand ultrasonic cleaner died (it was only 6 months old, but used (5-10 times a day for glasses). It cleans so much better than that one, and way better than glasses wipes or spray and cloth. My only complaint is that the magnet holding the lid down, does not work. The design is nice and the volume is better than most low cost ultrasonic cleaners. I was hoping that this would work better to get a slight haze off my glasses, but it was only effective at cleaning the frames. My wife used it for her jewelry and it worked very well. The name says "Smart" Ultrasonic Cleaner. This usually implies that it can be controlled via blue tooth or operate off a network. It does not have any of these capabilities. This machine cleans very well. I only used it 3 times and the hinge of the lid broke and I haven't had it for a year. Disappointed!

    • Beautiful Design but Short Lifespan

When I first set eyes on this ultrasonic jewelry cleaner, I was won over by its sleek, stylish design. It seemed to promise a harmonious blend of form and function, and initially, it did deliver quite well. For the first 14 months of use, this cleaner worked a charm. I had run about 20 cleaning cycles, each spanning 5-10 minutes, to clean a variety of items - glasses, Invisalign aligners, and an assortment of jewelry pieces. It handled each task with relative ease, breathing new life into each object. However, I noticed that the cycle durations were relatively short, which is a limitation when you compare it with other products in the market that offer multiple timer options. Then, alas, just after the 14-month mark, the cleaner started to falter. Despite the care I took to towel-dry it after each use, it ceased to clean as effectively. It would turn on, but the objects came out noticeably less clean than before. Such a brief lifespan for a product of this nature is deeply disappointing. In hindsight, I may have been better off investing in a more robust, perhaps slightly more expensive model with better reviews. It’s a lesson learned about the price-quality correlation. While this ultrasonic cleaner scores high on aesthetics, it unfortunately falls short in durability and functionality. The short cycles and short product life make it hard for me to recommend it wholeheartedly. Consider it for light, infrequent use or if design is your top priority. But for those seeking a longer-term investment for regular cleanings, you may want to explore other options. ... show more

Bought this for my glasses. I put water in along with my glasses and you can see it working right away. Dirt and other stuff can be seen coming out of the tight places. Works great
