I bought this to clean my Invisalign retainers, as my hygienist recommended it; she uses an ultrasonic unit to clean hers and has been very pleased. I used it today for the first time and was happy with the results. I repeated the 5-minute cycle since I had not been doing a great job with just water and cleaner and a denture toothbrush, and after the second cycle the retainers looked like new. the unit is so easy to use that I expect I will use it more often than I did the manual method. I purposely used the unit with water only and was very satisfied with the results. I did not see this listed in the item description, but the instruction manual suggests that it can be used with a denture cleaning solution so I may try that as well. It was delivered November 6, I have used every day except 2 days. All it does is vibrates, so I don't know if it does any cleaning on a partial. Now try to start it. Last 2 days I half touched the red light and it has failed to start. I went to take a video now it is running after touching the red button 5 minutes later. Not happy with it. After 4 months the power adapter broke in the unit it. Part of the issue the inside tub was NOT SEALED with the outside casing of the unit and the power end was green. ... show more
