I SWEAR by this brand, Expensive but worth it. My grandma ordered too many due to the face reaction lol but my Cavalier King Charles spaniel loves this stuff. Its great cause it has so much nutrients that you don’t need a bunch of supplements. I saw a difference in his stools , shiny fur & breathe . Good for dogs who have sensitive teeth. He’s super picky & wont eat anything without wet food. I’d buy basic brands like blue buffalo, rachel ray, etc. plus all this wet food & i noticed it came out to a similar price. Only con is that it doesn’t last super long. He’s a medium size dog & i still have to buy the largest bag plus an extra small bag & it lasts the month. if you have a larger dog i would get two orders of the large bag. I recommend getting the pre shipping every month since it’s cheaper . ... show more

This is first time I have ever tried freeze dried raw dog food I would give a five star, but I’ve only been using less than a month so far my Yorky loves it. She is more excited about eating than she has ever been and she’s eight years old. She eats every bit and licks the bowl completely clean no crumbs so far it’s working for me And for her While we are waiting for the water to activate the food dry food, she sits and watches the counter and whines and sometimes dances around because she can smell it and she wants it then she doesn’t want to wait a minute. So far I recommend maybe I’ll check back later and let you know if she continues on this. I’m happy to eat this food journey. ... show more

I have very LARGE dogs (Great Pyrenees) so I cannot use this as their only food source - but the get it as a topper every morning about 12-15 pieces each and they love it. Their tummies did not get upset the first time I fed it to them and they will eat it before they eat any of the other dog food. My very small senior dog (5 pound Chihuahua mix) is very picky about food. I constantly am on the hunt for something she will eat for more than a couple of weeks. I found this food on Amazon this week and ordered the 5-ounce package of chicken flavor. She absolutely loved it. In fact I don’t know how I could keep her to the three-quarter cup per day that she’s supposed to eat. But being very small with a very small mouth, jaw and teeth she had trouble chewing the cubes as they come even though they’re spongy. So I cut them in half, which wasn’t a big deal to do, and she was fine. She gobbled them down. Since she seems to like it so much, I ordered the 1-pound bag which arrived today. I didn’t want to jump right to the 3-pound because who knows, she could change her mind in a few days and not like it anymore and it’s VERY expensive. The 1-pound bag arrived today and I poured some of it out so I could cut the cubes in half and found the quality varies widely. Many or most of the cubes in the 1 pound bag are smaller and darker in color and harder than the fluffy ones in the 5-ounce bag and they’re hard to cut in half because they shatter into crumbs. Apparently they’re over dried. So right now I’m kind of on the fence whether I’m going to continue buying this product. I’ll go through the 1-pound bag and see if the whole bag is like that in which case I will not buy it anymore. Maybe just some of the ones that happened to be on the top of the bag that I started today are over dried ? Anyway, I’ll update this when I have a little more experience with the product. ... show more

The ingredients of the food are super simple, which makes me feel good about feeding it to my dog. The bag is a good size and lasts quite a while. My dog always finishes his food when we add this in!
