Perfect size and really cute, but a little flimsy. Love that they can hang from a hook when closed. Great for saving space. But when open, they don't stand up very well alone. Best practice would be to put inside a bowel when open. Having said that, I use the little one, open, without a bowl, in my RV sink to strain garbage. Holes are small enough to keep most debris out of the gray water tank, and the rim of the strainer is sturdy enough to whack it on the side of the waste can and knock all the solids out in one whack. Being used to a garbage disposal in the house, I instinctively throw all garbage in the sink. Without a decent size strainer, I was spending way too much time and effort retrieving the solid garbage by hand and transferring to the can. For the money, these work for me in the RV, and again, they are really cute!! ... show more

I like that these are collapsible and take up less space than a plastic or metal colander. What I don't like is the holes are only in the bottom, so if the water is dumped in too fast it's going out the top and not the bottom holes. They're not bad once you learn their limitations, definitely better for rinsing that pouring into. ... show more
