I have purchased under cabinet lights before. Always ended up tossing them because I couldn't afford 12 batteries a week. These lights are a game changer. I now have under cabinet and counter lights that are motion sensitive and that I can plug in to recharge! Charging cords are included. Installation involved pulling tape from sticker strip to attach to the bottom of cupboard. Lights are easy to remove from the magnetic strip for charging and then simple to reattach. I was surprised at how small these lights were and was not impressed with the amount of light they put off. Reading their description I thought they would be much brighter. That being said, they charged fine, were easy to install and they do provide adequate light to spaces that had no light before. The motion sensor works well and they turn off rather quickly once no motion is detected. Additionally, the lights were packaged together and a charging cable was provided for each light (6 in all). Although I gave it only a 4-sstar rating, I would buy the product again and I would recommend to others who are in need of light in places where it is difficult or costly to run electrical lights. ... show more

After one week of consistent use of motion sensor mode in both the kitchen and hallway, most on full intensity, the one in the hallway on the lowest intensity, the lights have only lasted one week on a full power charge. This is far from the 30 days as advertised. I DO really like the magnet option for mounting and portability. For use as a nightlight, they are great. If ONLY using for undercabinet/under a single shelf, then these are reasonably bright and a good alternative for electric utility use, especially for those of us leaving in places where we get charged higher costs during specific times of day (peak pricing). I was hoping they would be individually brighter to help light my closets, but they will not work as I hoped unless I use more than one. I'll update the review after I use these regularly as intended because I want to see if the battery/quality of light output lasts as advertised. The most important quality I want to test is how long the lights last between charges and whether the quality of the light remains reasonably constant. I previously wrote a review about a set of portable lights I purchased here, and the recharging feature and light quality/output duration failed after 30 days, so after I could return them. Many of these rechargeable products seem great out of the box and within the first weeks of use, but if they don't last, then they are not good products. Stay tuned. ... show more

I have a permanent dark, deep 1970s stained walnut cabinet in my guest room. I took the doors off and painted the entire cabinet. It was still deep and dark. These rechargeable lights to the rescue! Three lights strategically placed in the cabinet took an old dark cabinet to a bright, usable piece. I like the motion sensor feature too. These lights were packed well without any possibility of damage. They are easy to charge. A charging cord is provided. You must use your own charging port. The original charge took approximately two hours per individual light. They are attached to magnetic clips with adhesive on the back. The clips stay where placed. This is my fourth order of lights. I keep finding places to install more. The adhesive is extremely strong but I always clean the surfaces well with Isopropyl alcohol before installing. I put them under my kitchen cabinets, under the counter tops in my bathrooms so I don't have to turn on the lights during the night. I put one in my kitchen pantry and in my entrance hall closet. I bought a set for my daughter's kitchen and a friend ordered two sets for her and her mother's house. They don't have to be charged very often and they can be set from dim to very bright.
