I used this to prevent my dogs from trampling areas of my garden. For the most part, assembly was easy. Some of the legs were hard to screw on due to the treads. The fence can bend if you use too much force when pushing into the ground. Some of the paint was coming off as I was putting them into the ground. Ordered these to use in our garden to hopefully keep away small animals/varmints in our yard from getting to the base of our fruit trees and bushes. They aren't closed up very much though, I definitely think animals as large as rabbit can easily get through. If you need them to block animals, plan on lining the inside with chicken wire or some other tighter weave fencing. Other than that, the legs screw on easily enough and it's not hard to drive them down into our soil (Northeast US) so I can't really complain. They are as pictured and once I know more about their reliability, I'd consider ordering them again. ... show more

These are super quick and easy to install! They've been up for over a month and haven't rusted. They are not super sturdy, if you are looking to deter an animal with any strength from entering an area. They bend fairly easily. I have ordered quite a number of self-install fences with screw-on legs and this is one of the better fences. Mine are used to keep a 48 lb. puppy from digging up my flower beds and this fence is tall enough to be useful for that purpose. This fence also has stronger metal legs than my others and doesn't wobble at the screw connection point, as do my other fences of this design. The outside metal of this fence is thicker than the inside design metal and pickets, but the soldering is neatly done on all of it and the fence looks nice. The problem I have encountered with all the fences with screw on legs is the inconsistency of the metal threading of the screw. This fence is better than the others, I only really had difficulty screwing on 1 leg, but some legs have many more threads than others, certainly on the upper portion of the fence leg, but from the feel of screwing on the bottom part of the leg, I don't think the inside threading is consistent either. I really don't understand why the manufacturing quality is so different between the panels, they should all be uniform. Luckily, soft dirt is forgiving of length discrepancies and I can install them evenly in front of my climbing roses. ... show more

This is the most versatile and adjustable fence/garden border I’ve ever used, and I’ve tried 4 different styles of this kind of fence from different manufacturers. First, I appreciate the height on this. For keeping a tiny border but still being able to step over and access everything, this height is ideal for me. Second, I LOVE how many panels come in this set. Finally one product listing to get the whole 27ft you actually need, since so many products seem to only include 10-12 ft of fencing, requiring you to buy two orders. I don’t know anyone who only needs 15 feet of fencing. For an average front or backyard garden bed, 27ft is much closer to the average of what most people need, in my opinion. Additionally, I think the designs on these are really lovely, and they look nice and simple, not detracting from the beauty of the flowers. Easy to assemble and easy to install, these fence panels are excellent. I am very happy with these and would recommend them to a friend. ... show more

This fence is just what I needed to keep my dogs out of our raised flower beds. They were a pain to put together, not hard, but very tedious.
