I set up the UGreen KVM switch for a computer and a TV console. It is a lightweight and very simple device upon first impressions, with straightforward USB and HDMI ports on all sides. However, I couldn't get it to power on at all at first and the instructions or Amazon details did not mention anything on how to set it up. After some deduction, I noticed that the HDMI cables would not be able to supply power unlike USB ports. Therefore, I plugged in one of the included USB-B plugs I thought I didn't need, and it powered right up. After that snafu, everything worked great. It comes with 2 sets of HDMI cables and 2 USB C to USB A cables which work well. You may need to obtain another HDMI cable though if you wish to connect two HDMI sources to one monitor. There is also a handy control button with a long cable so I could secure the KVM switch behind my desk and just use the control switch to alternate between platforms. Overall, it works great with good image quality and speed despite its lightweight and questionable material durability. The included cables are a nice addition and the UGREEN KVM switch is on the lower end of the price spectrum. However, the instructions are poor and people may have trouble getting it to work thinking it is broken. We had 3 people try until realizing HDMI do not provide power. The media could not be loaded. I tested this on two Dell business computers(Latitude 7740 and Precision 7760) using two different monitors(4k60hz and 1080p60hz). Video failed both tests using both computers. Too bad because its a sleek device and I would have liked to use this otherwise. The best I can say is USB worked. ... show more
