Worked like a charm directions suck dos not come with new seals. Be sure to set it down face first clutch down when changing the presser valve on back of pump you are going to loose some oil but by doing it this way you will loose a lot less. All and all the pump work’s great and it’s quite and that’s the bottom line I would buy again. Hope this helps good luck. One more thing when removing the plug on the back cover it with a towel it’s under presser this will keep the oil from spraying in your face. ... show more

I was so supersized with the price of my 96 jimmy 4.3 a/c compesser.perfect fit and such a fast delivery my truck never spent one day out of service.garages want more than 3 times the price and thats only for the unit.Amazon youve never let me down and im a customer for life.thank you

Worked for my 1997 k2500. Old compressor still worked but was making a rattling sound. So I bought this vacuum out the old system and recharged it and it’s way colder than the old compressor(that was only 2 years old by the way). 1997 k2500 5.7l V8

I bought one of these to replace my original. Had for about a month before it blew. I bought another one thinking maybe I got a faulty one and the price was ok. The second one blew after about three weeks. After my own diagnostic, my system was back to losing vacuum.. I’m NOT buying another one. AC Delco for me. ... show more

I bought this on July 2, 2019. I wanted to write a review when I made sure it would last. Almost a year later and I haven’t had to touch it since I installed it. Blows cold air everyday of the summer. Installed on a 98 k1500 5.7. Only trouble we had was on the back of the old compressor was a sensor held in by a C clamp. On the new compressor was a hole where this sensor should of been but was plugged. We took the plug out and it was compressed with air and oil. (Sprayed everywhere). We put the sensor in the new compressor and topped it off the best we could with oil. Not sure what the sensor is for but it works. ... show more

Instructions were clear and it worked perfect. I would suggest to purchase new compressor oil and the sensors that go with this compressor as they are not included.

Installed with no issues, followed the installation instruction on the compressor manufacturer website, which stated to vacuum the system for 1 hr. Also replaced the accumulator, and orifice tube. Ice cold air again! The pump is relatively quiet with no unusual noises You must use PAG 46 with this compressor, not PAG150 that the OEM compressor uses. ... show more
