All I can say is that this is a well built, brand new propane tank. Add in that it was a far lower price than I could find anywhere locally and they deliver it right to your door, you have an easy decision. I put it on a hand truck, ratchet strapped it into my pickup bed, drove down to Tractor Supply, and they filled it up without having to move it. This propane will only be used as fuel for our generator. As an aside, I highly recommend you using only propane or natural gas for your generator as you will never have any sticky/gummed-up carburetor problems like you inevitably have with gasoline powered equipment that sits idle for the vast majority of time. ... show more

    • Seems solid and well worth the money.
I was hopeful the tank would arrive undamaged. Happy to report it did! Very well packed and supported on the top of the tank with crisscross 2x4's which kept the valve end very stable. The tank is a couple of years old but in excellent condition. Good buy!

Lots of complaints on other tanks like this, but this was shipped in double corrugated heavy duty box, with 2x4 blocking to protect the valve end. Box had it's scars, but the tank inside is pristine, well built. Heartily recommend this vendor.

I bought it for my tri-fuel generator. It is very sturdy. Got it filled for $90. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, because it had some minor blemishes (scratches) when it arrived. (Strictly cosmetic).
