So it works great for the exact reason you are thinking off. Soft on skin, minimal rubbing, very good no pain. Issue came with cutting the rope. It will fray pretty badly on the ends unless you wrap with tape on the ends. Which isn’t exactly ideal but still it works nonetheless.

It's not as much rope as it looks like. You can get more rope at walmart for a cheaper price. It looks like a lot of rope. It's the smallest amount of rope that I have ever bought though.
