Seems to be good quality it fits just as indicated in description. This is the only helmet on Amazon that shows to fit kids heads down to 18.5" and it fits my daughter great no complaints. Although I can't report on durability, God willing, I will never have the ability to comment on it.

I bought this helmet for my child for in-door kart racing. It is a very nice helmet for the price. However, the sizing chart is off by about two sized. My wife, my child's race instructor, and me measured my child's head numerous times and we all came to the same number, 21 and 1/2 inches (see picture). The sizing chart clearly states that an XL helmet is recommended for 21 to 22 inches. The XL youth helmet we received was so big that my child could almost rotate it 360 degrees around their head. The next morning I contacted customer service and explained the issue but in the end had to pay for return shipping. I have purchased dozens of helmets using sizing charts and never had a helmet this far off. I hope the sizing chart is revisited and corrected in the near future so others will not have to be disappointed and be charged unnecessary return shipping fees. ... show more

I purchased 2 of these helmets for my grandchildren to protect their heads riding their mini bike. They are a good product for a decent price. The helmet isn't to heavy and pretty easy to put on and take off. We taught them how to loosen and tighten the strap without taking it all apart so they can do it themselves their 8 and 10 yrs old. My grandsons seems to be a little tight I measured his head and it said he'd fit the biggest youth helmet. I'm afraid it won't be long and he'll need a bigger size. The kids say they can see well out of the shield. All in all we are very pleased with this product. The kiddos were very happy with the gloves said they were cool! 🤣 I would highly recommend this helmet. Glad they had them for boys and girls. ... show more
