I think I started a trend when I brought this keyboard in because afterwards, everyone started to buy their own light up keyboards! Great look, durable quality since I’ve dropped it a few times and it still holds strong! Easy to use and great price! It only displays one color but it has several patterns you can choose from. Some people say “that would give me a headache” or “that would mess with my adhd” but still, they say it looks pretty. The clacking noise is definitely loud!!! Haha.. sturdy product.     • Great Keyboard But...

So, I've been keeping my eye out for a type writer style keyboard for awhile and I saw this one scrolling through the options. Overall, it's a nice keyboard with some surprising "features" that I didn't expect. Pros: 1. There is some "resistance" to the keys, ensuring you don't accidentally press a key with the slightest amount of pressure. I've come across some keyboards like this and I consider it a massive pro. 2. The spacing between keys is actually not a problem, which I was worried about the spacing causing issues but I'm happy to say that it isn't the case, you can glide your finger over each key without your finger getting caught between the keys. 3. The "clicky" sound that the keys make is very satisfying if that's what you're looking for. 4. The lighting is exactly as pictured and the colors are very beautiful. I ordered the black with rainbow lighting for reference. Cons: 1. The biggest con for me is the fact that my windows key does not work. Even though the indicator light shows that the window key is "on" it just doesn't function as intended. At first I was going to send the keyboard back but I googled to see if the mac/window compatibility has something to do with it. Turns out that is the case, the windows function is actually bound to Ctrl+Esc on my keyboard. So, instead of sending it back I've decided to keep it. 2. The keys are "higher" than a regular keyboard, so you need to press further than what a regular keyboard requires. Having said this, I think it's probably a normal thing for type writer keyboards in general, so this might be a pro or a con for you. Overall, I'm very happy with this keyboard and recommend it if you're looking for this style. It might take a bit to get used to but it is very pleasant to type with! If you run into issues with the windows key, just try Ctrl+Esc first. UPDATE: I figured out why the windows key wasn't working!! So, if the indicator light on the right is "on" then that means the windows key is "locked." So, I checked the manual and the key command to unlock your windows key is Fn+W-L. Once the light is off, then you should be able to use the windows key!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. i was hesitant to buy this at first. when i got it, i was so excited to try. i love the clicking sounds. my asdw keys stopped working, but i unplugged and plugged it back in and it was working fine!! I love this keyboard. will buy another for work

Bought this to make work less monotonous and boring. Love the CLICKY and the light setting are fun. Definitely like the light settings that react as you type best, but the other settings are nice and there is a helpful manual that tells you how to set the lights to your preference. You can adjust the pace and brightness of the lights easily (also in the manual). The keys feel sturdy, as does the keyboard itself. Definitely worth the money. You get a little ring to pop the keys off if you need to and there is a wrist prop which is nice considering the height of the keys. Makes writing and spreadsheets much more fun. ... show more

    • A cool looking keyboard with some downsides

The mode lights near the logo don't work or change, making their purpose unclear. No matter what I tried, they wouldn't change. The manual is hard to understand, it is clear that it wasn't written by someone whose first language is English. Choosing the different modes isn't very intuitive, you just kind of click FN and Ins-End to switch, hoping to find one you like. I was disappointed to find out you can't change the overall color. It is rainbow only. Knowing that I probably would have purchased a different model. This keyboard is LOUD. I would not recommend this if you share a room with someone else. There is no way they would not get annoyed by this. The keys feel good though and are easy to clean behind with them being so wide spaced. It is taking me some time to get used to typing on it. There is no indicator for Caps Lock, Num lock etc. This isn't the end of the world but would have been nice. It would have been nice if there was an indication of the various FN functions for the F1-12 keys as these are shortcuts but impossible to memorize. The lights are bright behind the keys but overall the lights indicating the keymarks themselves are not great and are dimmer than the backlight itself. The wrist support slides around a lot and does not connect to the body of the keyboard in any way. It would have been nice had it connected somehow either through a clip or a magnet. ... show more
