I had been using the Laundress detergent for my sheets, until it got recalled and discontinued. This smells pretty similar and is actually stronger. I used 3 oz to do my king sheets and duvet and I definitely think I could get away with using about half that amount. I got the "floral" scent and there's a sweet vanilla smell to it as well. I only use a capful of this or two depending on the size of the load in addition to unscented soap. It's highly effective in that amount. It is extremely condensed and highly scented, so in that way it's not that expensive. Don't use more (unless you want to) and don't follow the directions on the bottle. The scent is fantastic and makes me feel good and inspires me. I can't explain why but the scent makes me want to keep my house clean. Sheets and towels are dreamy and I feel like a fancy gal. Like a Diva, I guess. (Closest I'm gonna get) However...The container it comes in totally sucks. I'm looking for another bottle to transfer the Diva into. No matter how you pour it, it leaks onto the main bottle and it's nearly impossible to not get it on your finger or whatever. Even if you pour it with ninja precision it leaks when you screw it back on. The scent is VERY STRONG and does not totally wash off your skin even with soap. I like that it's super condensed because a little goes a long way but come on, Tyler Company. Use some of those $25 bucks-a-little-bottles and design a container that dispenses well. I'm thinking i'm going to use a flip-top shampoo type bottle from the dollar store, if I can find one. Long story short=I love this stuff and I'm totally into it. It's worth it. Until they change the bottle/jug though, you should make a better plan for dispensing it. ... show more

I love this product and purchase it regularly. Just after Christmas I ordered a smaller bottle for a family member....it was just under $25. This past week I ordered what I thought was the larger bottle I usually get for myself as it was approx $40 after tax but it came yesterday and it was the same bottle that was less than $25 previously! I thought Tyler Candle Co was an American company but they list the weight in grams vs the US standard of oz/pint/gallon. This laundry detergent is already expensive enough without them trying to trick you!! ... show more

This detergent smells so good! It’s a little pricey but a way I try to “milk” it is to mix this in with an unscented detergent , like all free and clear. I use a medicine cup to measure it out over just free pouring 2 tsp for 1 load of king sheets with pillow cases is plenty! The scent lasts on my sheets for about 1 -1.5 weeks. I like to wash my towels, sheets, blankets & bath mats with this wash. It smells great on clothes and eliminates the need for perfume. ... show more

This stuff smells absolutely divine and, if using it as a scent booster, a little goes a very long way. I have fairly sensitive skin and largely use unscented detergent. However, my fabrics and linens then tend to smell like ‘house’ rather than good. I purchased this to add a small amount to my existing detergent to add a base of “smell good” to my home. I am PAINFULLY allergic to this soap. It’s not rare for me to get a hive or two when using strongly scented cleansers, perfumes, detergents,etc. A full reaction to a scented product has never happened—until now.I washed a load with this and immediately broke out into a full body rash while folding it. I’d say if you have even slightly sensitive skin, avoid this. If you don’t? It’s very worth the money, especially if you have a fragrance free detergent you’re just trying to spruce up. ... show more
