After getting fed up with buying individual bags of tide pods I decided to go this route and am so happy that I did. The smell is refreshing and clean. Not overpowering in my opinion and it gets the job done. I dumped the pods into my glass soap jar for easier access. *Pro tip* using this with distilled white vinegar (Any brand will do) will soften your clothes! Throw out your harsh fabric softener as it’s bad for your washing machine and your skin! Add distilled white vinegar to the fill line of the fabric softener compartment, toss a pod (or two) to the bottom of your washer with your clothes on top and start! It cleans the washer, softens your clothes and eliminates odors! (I also have a High Efficiency washing machine). The vinegar pairs very well with these specific tide pods! And no, there is ABSOLUTELY NO VINEGAR SMELL. Happy cleaning everyone! ... show more

I have never been a Tide user - I do believe the last bottle of Tide I bought was back in the 1990's. A combination of things - the price, and the fact that even with free & clear Tide, I broke out. Cut to a couple months ago and I had to get a new washer and dryer set and had a free sample of a Tide pod with it. I washed a comforter with it and didn't break out, so I thought that I would look into the different types of Tide out there. I discovered these pods of Tide Simply plus Oxi and thought that I would take a chance with them. I am so glad I did. With working where I work, getting my clothes clean plus smelling clean is a priority, and these pods delivered on both counts. My whites were snowy white, even without bleach (which I don't use anyways.) Most importantly, I did not break out. As well, the child proof lock on the lid is not adult proof, unlike another brand I'd reviewed and commented about. I feel you get value for you dollar with these, they clean well, and are easy for adults to open the child proof lid. Highly recommend. ... show more
