This bed is Awesome, it is firm but at the same time not so firm that it feels like you are sleeping on bricks. The was delivered right to my front door. It is heavy and big so you might need help getting it inside and taking it out of the box. The mattress is shrink-wrapped pretty well and as such you will need to cut the wrap to remove it. be really careful; because it is very easy to nick the bed. The included cutting tool did not really work. I appreciate them including the tool. I ended up struggling with it more than it helped, and would rather have just used the blade to start with. It took about 4 hours for the bed to inflate enough to lay on it. If you want a really firm bed, the kind with no real give, you may want to go up one level. While the bed is firm you do sink into it after laying in it for a couple of minutes. Not a deep sink but enough that my wife does not like it. Not much give to this super firm mattress. Seems to be good quality, fits perfect and was a great price. If you lay for a long time it gives in a tiny bit at pressure points, but is almost like sleeping on a thinly padded board. Had a funny smell when opened that was pretty much gone after the 30 hours it took to get to shape. Not a total loss, but will likely be getting a mattress topper for it. I have never stopped tossing and turning like a rotisserie chicken using other matress's in all my life. The first night sleeping on this mattress, I woke up in the exact same place I fell asleep in. Heck even my dogs are happy that they can lay at my feet without getting kicked while I'm sleeping. They used to visit me only while I was awake, cause I couldn't stop kicking them.
