The mattress arrives in a box and shrink wrapped. I had read the reviews about being careful when opening it....so not wrong! They give you a "tool" to cut the plastic, so you don't cut your new mattress. Once you get the majority of the plastic cut the mattress pops open. So becareful and stand back. But the mattress is great. It is mid firm with tons of padding. It is a full 12 inches. I have had it for over a month now and it is so comfortable. I was looking for a hybrid king sized mattress similar to the mattress I bought for my kids years ago off Amazon. While this mattress turned out to not be like theirs, it is a great mattress for the price. It is extremely heavy and packaged very well. We did not experience it busting open because my husband carefully removed the first layer of plastic and rolled it out as best he could on our bed frame and then slowly opened the rest of the plastic so our mattress could slowly inflate. We did not sleep on it the first 24 hours. It is much firmer than I thought it would be but it’s comfortable, supportive and seems very sturdy and well made. No smell at all upon opening. Nice and soft and thick. When we were unboxing the mattress, we got slung across the room!!! be careful opening that mattress dangerous. We were on the sides of the mattress, but it still just popped open and got my husband & I. It was funny afterwards wish I recorded it.

I ordered the 8-inch twin mattress with some hesitation after reading reviews that suggested "you get what you pay for." I took a gamble, and I'm so glad I did! When I first saw how compressed it was in a small, long box, I was a bit nervous. However, I followed the recommendation to let it expand for 48 hours before testing it though I’m sure 24 hours would have been sufficient. Once it fully expanded, I was impressed. This mattress it so comfortable. You read so many reviews online for so many mattresses in my price range. I originally purchased a different mattress but it never arrived. Said it was out of stock and when I went to reorder it was double in price. So I went looking again when I found this mattress. Arrive quickly and had no issues. We opened the mattress with ease. Just have to know how to actually open it. The top layer is soft cushion. But it firm enough that we don’t sink. Does not make noise as we move and I can’t feel my husband move on the other side of the bed. Down side. You can’t sit on The edge. You’ll slide right off. Arrived extremely quick, just set it up today…very heavy but that’s not necessarily a bad thing! Feels AMAZING on my back and it inflated instantly…letting it sit for 24 hours, but so far fantastic!!!
