We decided on the spur of the moment to finally upgrade our mattress during this past prime day sale and ended up getting a great deal on the King sized Nectar Mattress. It was half off, I’ve heard great things about these beds in the past and after carefully doing some research just to make sure it would fit our needs, decided why the heck not and purchased the bed. It came within three days and after setting up a new bed frame for it we unboxed it-which I would do with help as the box is heavy and the sealed plastic covering the bed is a little harder to get off alone, although I’m sure someone could do it by themselves but would be much easier with help. Some reviews said the bed takes days to fully inflate but ours inflated fully within moments, almost instantly. The picture attached to my review is taken not even twenty minutes after we unboxed the bed. It is firm but also has the memory foam feel that has your body sinking in slightly and conforming to your body as you lay down. I’m a shorter, bigger woman about 260 lbs and it’s just the right amount of soft and firm for me. I add that because some people have suggested that the hybrid model mattress is a better fit for larger people as the medium firm model may be too firm and uncomfortable for larger bodies. I’m so ridiculously comfortable and relaxed in this bed and have slept better than I have in quite a while so that’s not the case for me at least. My fiancé is about 190 and taller and he’s equally comfortable and satisfied with the bed. This is simply the best mattress we’ve had in ages, only to be rivaled with our old Tempur-Pedic we had years ago which was the best sleep I ever got on any mattress in my twenty some years of life. This bed is up there on that level though and more affordable so I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase. If your debating whether to buy this bed or not I wouldn’t wait, amazing sleep and comfort are just an order away! ... show more

    • Return policy is a scam!
I found this mattress to be very soft, only partially inflated after several days, and started a return. The amazon rep told me that since I had removed the mattress from the box it was no longer returnable! They insisted that once the mattress has been opened it is no longer in it's "original condition" and therefore cannot be returned. Meaning, if you so much as open the box, you are stuck. Which of course makes the return period useless, because how do you know if you want to keep it or not when you can't even open the box to see it? When I asked just how a customer was supposed to use the 4 month return period and 365 day trial period, of course the rep had no answer. I refused to go away, however. Eventually I was offered a 50% discount. I refused, insisted on a manager and insisted that the return policy (which I called and verified on the phone with Amazon before purchasing) be honored. Finally I was offered a full refund. I accepted that, but they won't remove the mattress. I have to figure out myself how to get rid of it. I hope that when i buy a replacement they will take away the old mattress. So moral of the story - CALL AMAZON AND VERIFY THE EXACT RETURN POLICY TERMS BEFORE BUYING. GET THE NAME OF WHOEVER YOU SPEAK WITH. DON'T LET THEM BAMBOOZLE YOU INTO BELIEVING THAT YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO RETURN THE MATTRESS WHEN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PRODUCT PAGE THEIR RETURN POLCIY CLEARLY SAYS THAT IT IS RETURNABLE (and it says nothing about it being unopened). If only the mattress had properly inflated and been comfortable, I would have kept it. But it's lumpy and also you practically fall off the edge if you try to sit on it. Very weird. ... show more

I was very hesitant buying a mattress I never laid in but it definitely did not disappoint! It was easy to set up, I did it by myself. It even pleases my very picky husband so 10 out of 10 for us.
