After slept on this mattress for a couple months, this mattress by far was the best mattress we ever bought. Due to the appearance design of additional layer wrapped around the mattress ( as you see in pictures), it is snuck/tight fit to our king size bed frame so there is no movement., noise whatsoever. The top layer provides a cool sense when you laying down without the sheet. It is best for the summertime. It is firm +. Support is Great for those who have back problem. I played hard tennis and sometimes lower back gets very sore. This mattress eased my back tremendously. I feel very comfortable sleep on the back or on the side when my back is hurt. 100% satisfied and strongly recommend to everyone. It smell neutral and absolutely no weird smell. The mattress inflated within seconds. They suggest waiting a full 2 hours before using it but you honestly won't have a problem using it after 5 minutes of opening. This bed is very firm. I wasn't really aware of how firm it was when I bought it. You can put your hand on the mattress and push down and it will barely move. It does take some getting use to. I do suggest a mattress topper though because I couldn't handle just the mattress. I'm giving it 5 stars because it is as advertised, good quality and a decent price for something this well made. I initially wanted to give 4 stars but that's just due to my own personal preference of a little softer bed and that's not fair because this bed does say firm in the description. Takeaway: If you love firm beds that have barley any give to it this mattress is for you. It's solid and sturdy and good quality. This bed is more of a preference thing. I'm a big guy with a bad back, i am also recovering from surgery and spend a lot of time in bed. I did a lot of investigating in choosing a new mattress and read hundreds of reviews. In the past the term "firm" didn't breally mean firm. This mattress is FIRM. It looks great, there was no smell, and the gel infused cover actually feels cool to the touch. The media could not be loaded. OK, so this mattress 14in (Copper-Gel,AeroFusion Memory Foam) was delivered to me, vacuumed sealed, in large cardboard box. The hardest thing that you’ll have to do is getting that box to whatever room in your home or apartment I found it very easy to open out the box & a quick snip w/the scissors broke the seal. There was no smell and immediately it puffed up to 12-13 inches. If I could I’d deduct 1/2 a ⭐️ for it not being a full 14in I would. Despite that it sits very high inmy 18in bed frame which I ordered fr Amazon Basics. The bed is ultra firm. If you want a little bit of sink in your mattress this is not the product for you. But I specifically wanted a very firm mattress and this is definitely giving me that. Please see my video so that you can check out my little testing that I do to show the firmness of the mattress. I am not opposed to buying mattresses online, and this was by far the best mattress purchase I have ever made, hands-down. I have had neck and back pain for more years of my life than not (career nurse). How can a mattress be so firm yet feel so comfortable? No chemical smell and the manufacturer was true to his word that the mattress actually does have a cooling effect! My experience is that the foam “out of the box” mattresses tend to degrade within a year or two, so unfortunately, I have to get a mattress every few years for my back. I’ll update this in a year and let you know how it’s going. So far this is the most firm, supportive, and comfortable mattress I have ever owned in my entire lifetime. And I’m 52!
