  • Past futurism
A fascinating look at futurism from 1870's France. Somewhat of a difficult read, but nevertheless tells an interesting tale of three companions sharing a journey around the world in the legendary Nautilus. Of special note is the book cover, which has the most satisfying soft-touch texture, giving the book a great hand-feel. ... show more

  • I love the look of this classic book
I love the look of this classic book. It looks great on a shelf and is a great read. It has a very nice forward that talks of Jules Verne and how amazing he was able to write about the future and predict things that hadnt been discovered during his time. He consulted with experts in each field before writing. It is much more enjoyable to read knowing more about the author. ... show more

  • Attractive enough but
It is nice enough, but doesn’t scream quality, although, given the price point, it’s difficult to find much fault with the presentation. Was very annoyed when I peeled the sticky label off the outside and it removed some of the yellow ink. Not the end of the world, but it was a gift for my daughter.
