For keeping the keyboard and keypad together, it works very well. Once the two are installed in the 'bridge' they do become basically one solid device - which is what I was hoping for. I'm right-handed so, for me, the trackpad is to the right of the keyboard, but I appreciate the bridge being able to accommodate those who prefer it on the left thanks to the careful placement of the tabs, and clips holding everything in place. I am a bit disappointed that the corner curves of the bridge do not precisely match the curves on the keyboard and trackpad (extended keyboard with touch-id, and the latest trackpad). Fantastic casing for holding trackpad and keyboard together. The plastic is thick and rigid. Designed for the latest (2021 and over) trackpad with the rounded corners. The older squared cornered trackpads may not work so I advise to check with the seller first about compatibility. Its perfect for using on the couch or just keeping your desk organized. Edit: After a week using it, I would recommend layering double sided tape to raise the height of the trackpad so is slightly higher then the keyboard, as it settles in to the frame the clicking is dulled due to the friction with the keyboard, and it will make sure it wont fall out when using on couch. I think i applied 15 layers of double sided cellotape to the side next to the keyboard and the other side doesnt need. ... show more

A great concept that fails in execution, at least for any use other than desk or table top. There is nothing keeping the edges of the keyboard and trackpad from moving opposite directions, rubbing back and forth. In overall, it's a good product that effectively integrates the Apple magic keyboard and trackpad together for a cleaner desktop. The appearance is good. Unfortunately the four corners do not fit perfectly into the shape of the keyboard and the trackpad, so there are obvious gaps.

I purchased this in the past for an Apple keyboard and trackpad and loved it, so I opted to buy a new one for another new computer setup in my home. Imagine my surprise to learn that it does NOT in fact fit the current Apple Magic Trackpad 2 (A1535). The description photos show a model number that can't be found on the actual trackpad and past reviews indicate that this model number does fit. In looking at the newer Trackpad 2 and the design of the tray, both have changed just enough that the older devices do not fit into the newer tray. This is unfortunate and I hope that the seller updates the listing to reflect the correct devices they can accommodate in the current MagicBridge. I've found another option on Amazon that I'll be purchasing instead and will return this one. ... show more
