    • A little flimsy
Over all they do okay but they can be a little flimsy. Its a little hard to keep them in place when actually putting the cover on. Once the cover is on they seem to stay seated.

    • Great to have if your boat is stored outside
This has been a godsend since we keep our boat covered, but in the driveway, so it is exposed to the weather at all times. In the past, after a rain storm, we've had to deal with sucking out the water from the boat after the cover caved from water pooling. I love that there are 2 poles with all the hardware to stabilize them. This allows me to place one at the stern and one at the bow. They are easy to put together, stable and sturdy and work great. I do feel that they are a bit on the pricey side, but for the functionality and time savings and the heartache of having to clear out water, these are worth the investment. ... show more

    • Work if they stay up
You definitely need to tie these down. First time we put these up under our boat cover hoping they would stay up. Both poles feel over and water pooled on the cover. We had to use the ropes to tie it up. It would be better if the ropes had clips attached. You have to tie the ropes and each end. Once they stay up, they do a good job of tenting the cover so that water will not pool when it rains. ... show more

    • Not good adjustment.
These poles don't give you the ability to adjust the length to fit. They come in sections so if you need a length in between one of the pole sections, you are out of luck.

    • Great for preventing water pooling on my boat cover!
So I will say that depending on the size of your boat you may need more than 2 of these to prevent pooling entirely but overall, these worked great for my 19' deck boat. The cover we have didn't pitch at all but placing these in the bow and stern of the boat eliminated 90% of the pooling that was happening without them. Will be ordering one more set which should eliminate it entirely. They're super easy and light weight. We didn't even need the straps to keep them in place.     • Garbage. Does Not Support Without Being Tied Down 100 Ways
I had trouble believing these would work and sure enough, they are exactly what I was afraid of. Cheap garbage. These poles are weak, do NOT stay standing up, even when tying down with all the straps, etc. these are destined to fall over. A complete waste of time. First, I have a trolling motor that sticks up higher than these poles are in the first place. Second, even if there wasn't a trolling motor, these poles love to fall over. And, guess what? They don't do anything when laying over. Just a waste of time. Save yourself the aggravation and find a different solution. ... show more

    • Does the job
POV 28’ pontoon. They work as expected but, any build up of rain/leaves, etc they would tip over. We ultimately got 2 sets. That kept everything higher and helped the outdoors just roll off. No damage to boat carpet or the cover.
