This product is amazingly spectacular. Someone reviewed this product saying it tasted "porky". I'm here to say that it doesn't taste porky at all. It tastes exactly like it's name - Tumeric and Ginger with more of the emphasis on ginger. The taste is super strong but nothing I couldn't stomach, or I feel that anyone couldn't stomach. When I consumed it, I felt like I was taking in quality ingredients and my body felt the positive effects of it from the very first time serving. I am so pleased with this product, so much that I signed up for monthly delivery. I don't want to be without it! I loved all the items so much that I'll be getting all 6 of them on a monthly basis! This is a pretty good product, but could be better. I wish each serving had a bit more Turmeric. It would work better if it had bioperine (pepper) extract for proper absorption. As is, the taste is fine (I like the ginger taste) and wouldn't be any better or worse tasting with the bioperine, but it would be more effective against inflammation. ... show more

Highly recommend this product for anyone who deals with inflammation and aches and pains. My daily aches and pains have subsided, my knees feel better, and my head feels clearer. Inflammation is the root of so many of our modern ailments and this product definitely has me feeling better after a week. I was worried about the taste and that first spoonful is a little daunting, but my goodness, it's like my body is craving this stuff. I always want another spoonful despite it not being traditionally delicious. The medicine goes down easy, but its not candy. I will definitely be buying this again. ... show more

Update: While I'm tempted to take down the review altogether, I do stand on my review of the product. However, MaryRuth's has THE BEST customer service I have ever encountered, bar none. Just please be careful, this will stain anything it comes in contact with. Yes, there's a warning on the label, and yes I read it, but if you don't rinse it off completely, it will stain. If you spill it, it will stain. All this has managed to do is stain everything...my toothbrush, my sink is now permanently yellow, my nails, my skin looks like I drew all over myself with a yellow highlighter and the ginger flavor is very strong, not entirely intolerable, but not good. I have complete confidence in the brand and the general principle of the liposomal turmeric. I chose this formula because it doesn't have black pepper - I have a sensitive belly. That said, the flavor and texture are nearly unbearable. I actually gagged the first time I took it. I've started mixing it into lemon ginger kombucha to make it more palatable and cut through the disgusting viscous texture, but it's still...a lot. I don't know if I will make it through the whole bottle. If you are not sensitive to texture and can hold your nose through the earthy flavor, it will be fine for you. But for me...this is not the best choice ... show more
