    • It’s ok but do lube with axle grease before

Lube cable before use mine only had lite oil . Also do not bind cable building a stand that hold it firmly but allows cable to move with out a great bend reduces friction that will result in more heat. Also lube cable with axle grease or a graphite based grease will help friction to be held to a minimum. The 1/4 cable is much stronger also. So far mine works fine. More powerful than a Dremel but is not as compact. This is best for carving out large areas then following up with Dremel. ... show more

This item can be used for wooden item's So far I have used it for making staffs on all different woods (ie) maple, oak, linden, and pine just some of the woods, that you can try. This is a nice unit, compact and powerful. I bought this to use for wood carving. While I am still just beginner at this I can see this tool taking me a long way. I also purchased the foot pedal along with the machine, highly recommended.

This is a decent tool except it gets very hot very quick! I got a few burns from it. It has the same power as the harbor freight one and the harbor freight one doesn’t get hot and is only half the price. I would recommend saving the money and getting the harbor freight one

It is my favorite rotary tool. I would have given it a 5 star, but for one problem. The head of my shaft which holds the drill bits came off today. I was using it for some heavy carving of walnut and the head came loose. It looks like it just is held there by compression. I guess I can try gluing back on. My wish is the ability to get parts as needed. Some of these Chinese companies produce good tools, but one cannot get parts. I am in a quandary. Unless one can get parts, it really isn't worth the cheaper price. I would love to keep it, but unless I can get information how to fix it or get replacement parts, it is now limited in usefulness ... show more
