I first saw these snow shoes on a television documentary and loved how easy they were to put on. They are sold out in many places, but Amazon did have the size I need. I would have preferred another color (like red), but there were only two options (magenta and white, or, beige and white). I chose the magenta. They are actually closer to purple than to pink and attractive. There were two Amazon reviews and both people expressed significant issues with the snowshoes. I do not have either issue with mine, so I want to provide relevant detail for others. One review mentioned that a size 8 woman's boot did not fit the snowshoe, but I wear a woman's size 9 and they fit well with my bulky insulated work boots. The second review mentioned that the front binding caught under the vinyl of the snow shoe. My foot doesn't come anywhere close to getting caught in that way. Perhaps these people got defective snowshoes. The snowshoes are much easier to put on than the others that I own, which is what I wanted. These don't look as rugged as the ones that I saw on television, but they fit my needs. The binding is held together with a thin cord that ratchets to snug the binding around the boot when the knob is turned. I hope it holds up to many uses and will update my review if I encounter any problems. ... show more

With limited choices because most are sold out for this hot ticket seasonal sport, i came across this pair of snow shoes. They are easy to get on and off, sized appropriately, and are comfortable to walk in. I highly recommend.
