The bag size indicates the size of the snowshoes which will fit inside; the bag is an extra six inches long. So the medium bag which is listed as 9x30 is actually 36 inches long. For me I want a bag which holds the snowshoes to strap to my backpack. This items has shoulder straps so as to carry it as a backpack, sort of, which is too much bag for my needs. Features I like: good size (30” bag and 30” shoe fit nicely with room to spare), good material/well made, straps on reverses side allow to be worn as backpack. Feature I don’t like or perhaps don’t understand, the Velcro straps on side of bag appear to be for pole attachment. When my z-poles are broken down they do not attach securely, and when extended (130 cm) they are very awkward for carrying. I know of no better product for the application. ... show more

I ordered this bag for my husband's snowshoes and am happy with it. The sizes are not explained except to say each is appropriate for any 25 inch Tubbs snowshoe set. I got the "large" size, which is quite huge. I can't imagine snowshoes this big! Since it's so big it seems there should be an extra pocket in it, but there's only one tiny one. The backpack straps are good and there's a handle to just carry it suitcase-like too. The fabric feels waterproof, but there is a net at the bottom for snow melt to escape. In this way you can kind of direct where the water will go and you don't have to worry about musty smells in the bag. The sizes according to the package are: small 8" x 25", medium 9" x 30",and large 10" x 36". My husband has 25" Tubbs snowshoes and they are dwarfed by the bag. In fact I just did a test and my 27" Elektra's fit in it too so my husband could actually take both sets in his bag. Hey, maybe the large isn't so bad after all.... ... show more

The quality of this bag is very good - no complaints there. The snow shoes fit in the bag with a extra room to spare. I'm unsure if this was intentional, but since snow shoes are not "compact" items to begin with, it would have been nice if it was a tighter fit. The tighter fitting bag would be welcome when having to carry your snow shoe bag, in addition to other bags and gear. There are a number of intentionally added, but curious, features added to the bag, and no instructions to tell you what they're for. For instance, there is a "change purse" size zippered pocket inside the top, that may have just been added "because they could", or might have some very clever and useful purpose, if they explained it. It's always a little disappointing when a company doesn't bother to include instructions for a [possibly] nice feature, that an engineer spent some time thinking about. ... show more

The description and pictures do not do this bag justice. Now I have just received it and have not put it through the paces yet but first impressions are much better than expected. It has backpack straps and it has a zipper pocket on the inside to hold some small items. It is made out of a thick canvas material that looks pretty sturdy. This bag is very well made and attractive. But, the one I received is size small. Funny since I wanted a size medium for my 30" snowshoes. If these had fit my snowshoes, I'd have given them a 5. If they have your size in stock (Only the small size currently), this bag is a very practical way to store and carry your snowshoes, poles, and even has a pocket for gaitors. Plenty of room for my 32 inch snowshoes plus ice axe and I’m sure I could squeeze other items in here if needed. Thick fabric although of course you want to points on the inside facing each other.

    • Almost Perfect - Needs a handle
I got this case to hold my Tubbs snowshoes so they wouldn't get our car all messy and so we would have a place to store them. The case is almost perfect. -Great quality. The material is strong and there is a mesh bottom to the bag to allow for airflow. -Backpacking straps are great. -Side loops to hold poles is very nice. My only complaint is there is not a handle on the zippered end of the bag to hang the bag vertically. We will have to use the backpack straps to hang the bag up during the off season. ... show more
