The Tub Topper is a Bathtub Splash Guard Play Area Water Barrier Shelf meant to provide children a place to play with their bath toys on the edge of the bathtub while keeping water in the bathtub instead of on the bathroom floor. It has 10 suctions cups for an extreme hold that will stick to the top and side of the bathtub, while hugging the bath tub edge so water can't splash or leak underneath the product. Honestly I’m not one to leave reviews but this right here, this right here has been a real gamer changer for me. To its worth the $50 because my kids would splash water on all the floor before I got this and I have a 2 and 3 year old. Now bathtime is more enjoyable for them because they have something to have a tea party on or race the cars, or whatever their hearts desire because this has really helped keep my floors clear of water. I have also had zero suction issues even thought it’s not recommended my kids have sat on this thing multiple times and it’s never fallen but I also keep the suction cups cleaned! They can enjoy this for years to come so I believe spending the money was a great option because I do enjoy buying them things that’ll last and keep their interest! ... show more

    • A little pricey for what it is, but saved my sanity during bath time

My 3 and 1.5 yr old love to splash a lot during bath time. After several baths in a row yelling about the amount of water splashing out of tub onto floor and leaking under tub causing who knows what long term damage, I decided to buy a shelf that would give them more space to play in the tub and keep the water draining back into tub. This thing really works well for that purpose. The kids play hard with it, my son sometimes uses it as a slide into the bath tub. They pound on it and it holds up great, no bending, no cracking. Suction works good, especially first time. More than enough suction cups. I do find over time from kids leaning on it to get in and out of tub it starts to get unsuctioned and I need to press it back down. Not major inconvenience and that's usually when I clean under it anyway. Water will still find it's way out of the tub in the corners as this has space on either side (by design). I might invest in some corner guards as well for more complete waterproof, but for now I just keep a towel handy in case. I'll never go back to giving baths without this product. The damage it will prevent to your bathroom makes it a worthwhile investment and it's something that seems built to last a lifetime. ... show more

Just got the tub topper today and the kids were so excited to use it so I gave it a clean and put it on. I got the white and upon taking it out of the box, unfortunately there’s quite a few dark scuffs on both sides of it which is pretty upsetting for the price tag. Hopefully they can figure out how to package it better cause it was just tossed in a large box with no padding. The kids love it tho and it keeps the water off the floor so that’s all that really matters! ... show more

This is the best thing ever. Very sturdy with all of the suction cups (it's not meant to be sat on, but let's get real, the kids will climb on it, and it hasn't fallen off yet with our 1.5 year-old and 3.5 year-old climbing on it). Extra space to drive cars and for dinos to stomp, and--the best part ever--if they pour water on it, the water flows harmlessly back into the tub. Please note that if your tub has a difference in width of the tub rail/side along the front, the item won't be able to adhere well with the suction cups. See the second picture. It won't go on our other tub. Also, if you have a potty-training kid who needs to get out of/into the bath a million times during the bath, they will need help getting in and out--I wouldn't recommend letting them try to climb on it, as it will be wet and slippery and then they have to jump off it onto the floor. Not speaking from experience, of course. ;) Also, depending on the length of your tub, it may not cover the whole length of the tub, so they can pour water out of it on the end potentially. As many reviews have said, I’m not sure how this fits most standard tubs. Most tubs are curved and this certainly only works on tubs that are not curved on the inside. Great idea but they should be like 2 inches shorter on each side so that the curving of the inside of standard tubs don’t get in the way of being able to suction it. The suction cups also aren’t great and we had to purchase other ones. My husband ended up making a PVC board attachment for our tub and attaching the tub topper to that so that the $60 spent didn’t go to waste. Works great now but required modifications. ... show more
