This plug does exactly what I needed it to do - plug a drain - and it looks about as great as something as basic as a drain plug can do. It definitely deserves the 5 stars. It is jus t about 2 inches as described, and that's the drain size I needed it for. However, as the seller notes, it would work just as well for a slightly smaller drain too - down to just over an inch. The material is soft enough to conform to the opening, but doesn't collapse or form gaps when you insert it. This has worked so far for a sink where the stopper got broken. It keeps the water easily from leaking until you pull it out. Not sure I'll use it as a long-term solution as I prefer the plugs that you use a lever so you don't have to touch the plug itself.     • Finally something that holds water!
I have been on an endless quest to find sink stoppers that actually hold water. This is it! I put it in my tub and ran some water to cover it about a quarter inch. I left it there for hours, and the tub didn't lose any water, unlike all the other stoppers I've tried. Works great!
