It's a fun lens. I always enjoyed the Nikon 10.2mm DX fisheye. I compared the two on my Z body, and this is much sharper. Setting the focus ring to infinity did not work. Focus peaking worked once I realized that you must magnify the display to the pixels of interest in the wide field of view.

You get what you pay for but this lens will get you there. Does it compare to a good Rokinon/Samyang or Viltrox? No way. Will it give you a FOV those lenses won’t? Definitely. Just don’t expect it to be dead sharp and you’ll be good.

Got this lens to go on a class on shooting the Milky Way. Even though there was a certain amount of user error the lens performed well. Got the pictures I wanted. With this short of a focal length you have to be extremely careful about where your horizon is, but again, that's the reality of such a short focal length. Definitely recommend, for the price this is a good lens. Only negative would be that it is HEAVY, so probably won't carry it with me a lot. ... show more

Even though this lens showed a 90 day wait for delivery, I got mine in 8 days. The quality of this lens is rock solid. I loved it even before it was on my Z7. I’ve attached the first photo I took with this lens. If you’re thinking about getting it, just get it. This is a fun a creative lens.

We bought this because we needed the FOV that a true 11mm would provide (for 360 panorama application). it turns out that the 11mm specification is true for APS-C sensor, but it's actually a bit over 15mm on a full frame A7RXX Quality of the construction is nice.
