  • Outstanding Fit, Very Comfortable, Outstanding Value
I normally order a size small in this kind of garment, which is what I ordered here. The fit is awesome as far as I'm concerned. They truly qualify as real "compression pants." They are very tight fit through the legs and seat, which is often a problem area for me with this kind of garment, as I have a skinny "swimmers build." But these fit outstandingly well. They are very sleek fitting, smooth and comfortable, and look awesome! This was actually my second purchase of these pants. The first one was a two pack and this order was a three pack. Both are terrific values for the money and the quality seems not only very high, but consistent from order to order. The multi-packs seem to be a very good value for the money. Color me very satisfied with my purchases of these pants. ... show more

  • Tough Mudder Tested
I bought these for a 15K Tough Mudder event - they held up against crawling through water, mud, rocks and hurdling over hills, logs, and ladders. The shorts I was wearing were torn, but these tights were absolutely unscathed after 3.5 hours of intense abuse. They dried quickly after water submerssions and washed up good as new! Fit was great, I'm 6'2" and 215lb and XL was perfect for my average athletic build. I was running on a cool and wet day, but I can tell these would keep cool in warmer weather. Material is thick enough to not be see through and compression was just right to keep everything in check, but not too tight to cause discomfort. Tl;Dr if these can survive an obstacle course race, they can probably survive most everything. ... show more

  • Longjohns or compression pants?
Material was very comfortable. Next to skin did not irritate the seams were well constructed. The size was on point. I’m a 37 waist 33 left and pretty warm I live in Philadelphia so the temperature is having around 30° now

  • Nice!
I bought these as an experiment, since I've been fairly satisfied using similar (Dr Skin) compression pants for 6 months or so. After reading the reviews, I was quite hesitant about sizing, since opinions were all over the place. That being the case, I ultimately chose to heed the manufacturer's advise, and in contrast to what the Dr Skin sizing chart suggests (Large), went one size up from what I would normally wear (I'm about 5'7, 165 lbs), and ordered Medium. The pants are quite nice, the print looks good and appear to be well made: I specially like that, once again, in contrast to the Dr Skin products, the branding is somewhat more subtle and discrete: I know that's a tiny thing, but I personally am not too fond of turning into a walking ad for any brand, so....). The moment I put them on, I immediately felt a difference: unlike my L Dr Skin pants, these actually offered some compression, which was most evident on my calves. But other than that, they are quite comfortable: not too tight, certainly not to the point of attracting attention for the wrong reasons, but just tight enough to actually qualify as "compression" apparel. So yes, definitely heed the manufacturer's recommendation: order your usual size ONLY if you want/need "extreme compression"! My only observation: the mesh panels. 1) you DO NOT want to use these in public without additional cover: stand under your gym's ultra-bright lights at your own peril, since you may end up giving everyone an unsolicited peak under the hood, and 2) I'm also a bit concerned about the durability of the mesh in the long run, because it is quite thin. I'm sure the mesh is great to help getting rid of the moisture, but it might turn out to be a liability. Bottom line, I'd say these are pretty cool: they look good, feel good, and they do offer some level of compression without veering into "salame tight" territory. I'll probably get a few more, but I also probably will get the non-mesh versions. ... show more

  • Performance, quality, style and price!
I've purchased several of these compression pants: several pairs of black, black and red, blue camo, and green camo. I've had most all of the pairs about a year now besides the two I recently purchased. I wear them daily, regardless of whether or not I'm working out that day because I ride a motorcycle and I like to have a second layer of "skin" between myself and my jeans. Plus, in the winters, they help against the wind while I'm riding. As a base layer, I can tell you that in the winter it does help against the cold. I would say that they may not help as much as compression pants designed for cool weather but it's much better than not having them I can assure you of that. As compression pants designed for working out, wicking moisture, and keeping you cool, these pants will not fail you. I live in Arizona where, 5 months out of the year, the average is 100+ degrees on a monthly basis. June and July are the worst; the heat is 115-120 degrees on some days. When you wear these compression pants in the heat, it will feel a lot like running/jogging/exercising without any pants on at all (strange to say but it's true). In fact, I'm not sure how the technology itself works but I know that while I'm running, the wind passes through to my skin and it actually feels cool even though it's hot enough to bake cookies in my car using only my windshield and front dash (true story). So as far as wicking moisture goes, these pants will definitely keep you cool. As far as quality and durability goes, out of my 6 black pairs, all of them have their original shine that you see when they first arrive. None of them have a dull exterior. One of them, probably through my own mishandling has a small hole on the side of the pants but other than that, all of them are in the same exact condition as when I first received them. They've held up from the wear and tear of every day use, and I wash all pairs at the end of the week, so I couldn't be more pleased with this product especially given the more than reasonable price for a quality and durability that has lasted me four times as long as I had expected. As for style, yes every pair of these compression pants does get looks. I've even purchased some of the corresponding tops because I couldn't be without a matching set when it came to some of the colors. Some things to keep in mind. I did feel like these sizes were slightly smaller than I would traditionally expected from the size labeled. Although I could wear them just fine, ordering a size up seemed to resolve the issue. Again, not a deal breaker, but I don't want them to be so tight on my legs that it's uncomfortable to work out. When you wash some of them, if the stitching is cotton, try not to mix them with anything that would leave those little lint balls on them. I made the mistake of accidentally washing a towel in a load that had my compression pants and I spent most of the day pulling those lint-like fuzzies out of the stitching in the compression pants. ... show more
