Not ugly like most helmets, this is cut less "flared out" than a pro tec certified or classic. This one works really well if you wear eyeglasses. The strap is really long and a continuous loop, that's probably the only thing that really bugs me because I had to cut it or have 6" of extra strap flying around. Very comfortable and light. I just received my TSG Evolution helmet and absolutely love it! I've tried several other helmets over the last 7 months and just wasn't satisfied with anything I had bought. They either didn't feel all that good or they didn't look good while being worn and also had a problem with some being way to low in the front. The Evolution has ended it all. My eldest daughter has taken up roller derby and of course she fell and hit her head. Thankfully this helmet saved her from a major head injury and luckily she only suffered a minor concussion. I can't recommend this helmet enough. Remember kids wear your helmets to space out the brain damage.
