Let me explain, I ordered my first set LOVED THEM!!!!! They were thick, soft, luxurious...I told my sister about these, she ordered 2 sets of sheets, one was gorgeous like mine, the other one thin and flimsy. So I bought another set just to see what she was talking about (same size/color), and mine also was thin and flimsy! I sent mine back, (my sister didn't) explaining the differences between my first and second orders, and they replaced it with another thick, soft, luxurious set....I am very satisfied with the sets I have! ... show more

I was looking for sheets like we used to have in my long ago childhood. I am tired of thin, poorly made sheets that wrinkle a lot and have cheap elastic and are practically see through. Honesty, my husband ripped our old, bottom sheet with one of his toenails. These are substantial sheets. I washed them first and they did fine. There was no pilling, no loose threads or seam failures. I have a standard queen size mattress, not an extra deep mattress. There was plenty of extra fabric and strong elastic and I just tucked the extra. I am very happy with these now but the future will tell their durability. I noticed some people talk about sheets being “hot”. These are heavier sheets but I have not awakened sweaty or hot but my room temp @ night is 66 degrees. I purchased this sheet set a while back and I'm just getting around to using it. The quality of the set is good, pretty soft and comfortable. However, it is advertised as a 6 Piece set when in fact it only contained 4 pieces in the package. Fitted sheet, flat sheet, and 2 pillow cases. I was definitely expecting 4 pillow cases, and now I have two lonely pillows when I use this set. Unfortunate for me I'm just getting around to using it and passed the return window. Love these sheets, soft and lush! The color is white and the texture is silky smooth. I like sateen finished sheets; they tend to wear well.. Very pleased with this purchase, I may buy more at this price point. UPDATE; too late, they are back to regular price. Still keeping them on my wish list! It sounds like I lucked out, after reading some negative reviews. I really do like these sheets, and I've spent more than I care to remember on pricier ones, and these are just as good, if not better. Washed once in cold water, tumble dry low.
