I purchased these as a daily deal. The description says single ply yarn - that's the key in this purchase. It makes them more comparable to 500tc sheets which means they are not going to be super thick and buttery feeling. They are also going to wrinkle in the dryer. I've had many sheet sets over the years including the super luxurious 1000 tc sheets that are thick and silky soft like laying in Irish butter. I have champagne tastes on a beer budget and know the difference in quality. If you want those sheets, you're best to not buy them online and go to a retailer where you can feel the quality and you're not going to find them for under a few hundred cash. These sheets for the price actually exceeded my expectations. The last set I bought at this price point had noticeable defects such as tags sewn on the outside of the pillow case and crooked stitching. These don't have any defects or physical issues. The sateen finish has a perfect sheen. i have a 14" mattress and the fitted sheet pockets have enough room for a mattress a few inches taller - yet fits nice and taught so it will stay smooth through the nights. The material does seem a bit rough at first after washing but that has been the same with other sheets of similar quality I've had that do indeed become smoother after a few washes. The charcoal grey colour is perfect, exactly what I expected. The pillow cases fit my very, very fluffy pillows perfectly. The tags on the sheets and pillowcases say "100% Cotton" the outside packaging says "1000 thread Count Egyptian Cotton". The set is as advertised (Single ply thread). ... show more

I bought these for our Sprinter Van and love them. Would not hesitate to purchase another set when needing one for our bed in our home. They wash up great, no piling and are super soft. Worth every penny.

My pic is tad dark. Gorgeous slate grey. Have washed just 1x. Not terribly stiff like another set I bought, same type (those toke a long time to soften). Have 16" mattress. Plenty of fitted sheet to go around mattress. Flat sheet typical width. Pillow cases, ample length for standard. A little disappointed how wrinkly top sheet is after washing. (See pic). I realize it's 100% cotton. But I had another 100% cotton, 1000 thread count, it was thicker sheet, less wrinkles. For that reason, I dinged it 1 star. Probably not fair? ... show more

We're very happy with our new queen sheet set. After the first wash the sheets were incredibly soft and luxuriant. We bought them for a guest bedroom, and our first guests were quite pleased with their feel and smoothness.

BUYER BEWARE: Worst sheet set I have owned by far. I thought, 'Wow you get 1000 thread count and it's 100% Egyptian cotton, what a deal for less than $60'(it was an Amazon daily special). Normally cotton sheets get softer the more you wash them but them but I could tell they felt exactly the same after the initial wash. Very rough to the touch. Love how the return policy is void once you wash them too btw. Who the heck doesn't wash their bedding before they use it? Either way, false advertising because the sheets are def a fabric blend and not 100% cotton like advertised. They seem like they're well made for the most part but not sure how much I will use them since the fabric is scratchy and abrasive. Literally made my bed and attempted to fall asleep but after an hour of trying to get comfortable, I threw back on my old set. Bottom line is that if you're looking for a sheet set that is comfortable with a high thread count then these are not it. Not Egyptian cotton and likely not 1000 thread count either since I kind of see thru it when I hold it up to the light.     • Finally, my favorite sheets!
Alright, I have been looking and buying all different sorts of sheets for years trying to find the perfect one. I have literally gone through about 20 different sets in the past 5 years. Read reviews on this set and decided to give it a shot. I opened them up and have to admit, I was a bit skeptical. Threw them in the wash with some Tide and fabric softener and they came out perfect! The top sheet did wrinkle a bit at the top, but nothing I can't handle. Just pulled them tight and they were just fine. I flop around all night and sheets usually end up on the floor or all crunched down at the end of the bed. These sheets stayed perfectly in place, even with me flopping around like a fish out of water! I always sweat during the night, but I really didn't with these sheets. They are a very nice heavier fabric, not like those ridiculous so called Egyptian cotton wanna be's! They really feel like true cotton and I know they will last for years! Highly recommend and am getting a set for our spare bedroom! ... show more

    • Nice sheets, but not for people who prefer cool temps
The sheet quality is actually fairly decent, especially for the price. Unfortunately, these sheets run fairly warm and, as someone who runs extremely warm and prefers cooler temperatures, these are incredibly uncomfortable. I was replacing some older sheets of similar make and just feeling them in an empty bed you can feel almost a 10 degree difference between my old sheets and these new ones. Back to trying to find cool sheets that feel smooth and don't overheat when in use. One note I'll make is that the pillow cases actually fit my queen sized pillows which was nice because most queen sets I've used the pillow is just slightly too big to fit inside. ... show more
