The color is the same as the picture. The material is exactly as described and is not fake. Super cute and fit on standard pillow sizes, Not a scam absolutely worth my money! The quality is amazing! My head does slip out from underneath my pillow a lot more when I am using this, I haven’t noticed that it does insane with my hair like make a frizziness go away or anything. It’s very very soft and there is no gross smell on the pillow when I got it, but I would wash it first. Mine didn’t shrink in the wash, but I also have my temperature Warm and not hot. I'm still reeling from the person who said it's 100% polyester and not satin. (she has confused satin with silk. Kid, you can machine-wash satin.) That said, the color is great, they wash surprisingly well and are good sized. This set is holding up, no snags, shredding, or pilling. I did buy an identical set from te m u for $2 in a gunmetal color and those are also gorgeous and holding up- they are identical. (Gee, is A making prices higher? Anyone shocked?) They are not expensive and they don't look it, but they are a gorgeous backdrop. They won't cure acne, or eliminate face wrinkles, but they are smooth and nice to touch. ... show more

I have long slightly wavy hair that was a mass of split ends along with a frizzy, tangled mess. I got 2 so that my boyfriend could experience the satin pillowcase life-style and suffice it to say, he’s a convert now lol. We’ve worn and washed our set several times and they’re still holding up well - no discoloration or pilling. I definitely notice a positive difference in my skin and hair when I sleep on satin. Also even in hot weather, the satin always feels cool to the touch, which is nice for people who sleep hot. I enjoy these pillowcases. They are soft and more gentle on my facial skin as I am a side sleeper. I feel like using these in the long run will result in less wrinkles and irritation for my face. I also noticed that my hair is growing out softer because of less rubbing. These are great to use if you love a cold feeling pillow. I do wish however that instead of a side opening, that there was an opening in the middle of the back side instead (I feel like those style pillowcases keep the fluff of the pillow better), but it’s not a deal breaker for me at all considering the price. I just throw these in the wash and have yet to notice any pilling. But the fabric is the type that if you snag it, it will show. Also, the fabric will “stain” if you get oils on it, but they are so affordable that again, not a deal breaker to me. I also like how they come in an assortment of colors. ... show more
