    • Awesome tint and customer service
This is nice and thick tint and pleasant to work with. I’m very happy with the outcome and the tint kit had everything you except the baby shampoo and water. The customer service is excellent and shipping was fast. I’m a novice, but can usually follow directions fairly well and do all the maintenance on my car. That said, after watching videos, I knew this was going to one of the more difficult tasks I had to do on my 15 year old car. I ordered double of everything for practice and so glad I did. I wish I had a garage to do this in, but mine is only a one car garage and not large enough to open my doors fully. I did this work outside, under a 10x10 canopy with 18 mph gusts and pollen falling from the trees. One of the worst possible situations. I wonk up at 8 am, and I took off my door panels so I didn’t have to deal with the 15 year old seals on the bottom and could mist the window with hose and solution more readily. I did all four side windows first. I just got the hang of it by the time I finished my last window. I cleaned everything multiple times, up to the last second before applying to the window to limit contamination. Definitely glad I got the doubles of everything. The second time went much better with the heat shrinking and everything. Sides installed nearly perfect with a couple spots at the top probably from my finger. I can live with it. Mad respect for the professionals. On the back window. I forgot about doing the back window shrinking the dry method. And did it the same way I did the other windows. Big mistake. I took lunch and watched about 4 videos on heat shrinking rear windows. I used the H method and it was going fairly well until a gust of window lifted the film into my heat gun. I couldn’t recover it and just practiced on the rest of it before contacting customer service about my mistakes. All in all, I spent the better part of day for the whole process, but it would probably go much quicker in a garage or warehouse. I still think if you are inexperienced it will take much longer than two hours. Customer service was quick to respond and sent out a replacement tint. I’m going to wait for perfect conditions and install it. If I can’t do it, I’ll bring the film in and pay someone to install it. Take your time, be careful about contamination, order extras of everything, and watch plenty of videos before you start. The instal kit is handy too, so be sure you have the right tools.     • Customers Service Myth
I see reviews that scorn the customer service of True Line Automotive and the quality of the tint. This is simply not true. The Nano Ceramic Film is very clear and installed very easily with soapy water and a quality squeegee. I sent them an e-mail describing my experience with the precut kit. I got a response back from the sales dept in less than 24hr. In this day and age, customer service has to be a top priority. Part of my problem was, I did not read the instructions. Read the instructions people. I would also recommend using YouTube for top notch training. I have installed allot of tint, and was surprised about a few new techniques that I did not know about. If you have never tinted before, get the install kit too. The long and the short of it is that this a top notch quality product that has a great support team and 2nd to none in customer service. No need to remove interior trim as the directions state. The pieces don't cover the entire window. Unfortunately I did take the time to remove my interior prior only to realize everything is to small. Not even sure how you can return defective tint. I also opted for the double pack in case I messed up. What I received was 2 orders of mess up. I do not recommend. ... show more

    • Wonderful product and customer service.
The tint is very good quality. Issue with missing the extra driver window and installation kit. Sent the rear window for the hard top instead of ragtop. Talked to customer service and they were very quick to respond and issue a refund. I used the driver and passenger tint. Looks very good no issues went on flawlessly. Very happy in that aspect. Possibly need a checker on items shipped that's all. But all in all I'm happy with it. ... show more

I used this tint for my BMW and my wife's Jetta. I underestimated how difficult it is to install tint in the middle of Florida's summer heat. I ruined just about every piece of tint on my wife's car. I called up customer service to see how much it would cost to replace the pieces I damaged. Without any hesitation, they sent me a whole new kit FREE! I couldn't believe it. They even shipped it out to me within three days! NO HASSLES & NO ?'s asked. I ordered the pre cut tint and by the way, the fitment was excellent. I highly recommend ordering your tint from Trueline . Not only does the tint look beautiful but they got your back if you need them! ... show more

The ceramic tint is not as forgiving as the tint I used many years ago as a teenager on my first cars, and had problems only with the rear windows of my two cars due to compound curvature. Truline answered my emails promptly and was generous enough to send a free replacement for the rear on each car. I will say there is a marked difference in interior heat reduction.     • If you know what you are doing, then it is a good product
I would watch 2 or 3 videos on how to install tint before attempting. Even still it is a bear to compete with heat, wind, dust outdoors while installing. I am semi-competent and tried to install the rear window in my sedan TWICE before giving up completely. The rest of the side windows came out acceptable. I would highly recommend the install kit with all the tools. ... show more
