  • Worthwhile Investment
Investing in high-quality car window tints is an excellent decision for any vehicle owner. Not only do they enhance the overall aesthetic of your car, but they also provide a range of practical benefits that make the investment well worth it. One of the primary advantages of car window tints is the protection they offer from the sun's harmful UV rays. These tints act as a UV barrier, which can significantly reduce the risk of skin damage and premature aging for both the driver and passengers. This is especially important for those who spend a lot of time on the road. In addition to UV protection, car window tints also help to reduce glare, making it easier to see while driving, particularly during bright, sunny days. This can greatly improve visibility and enhance driving safety, reducing the risk of accidents caused by blinding sunlight. Another notable benefit of car window tints is their ability to regulate the temperature inside the vehicle. By blocking a significant portion of the sun's heat, these tints can help keep your car's interior cooler, reducing the need for excessive air conditioning and potentially saving you money on fuel costs. Furthermore, car window tints can provide an added layer of privacy and security, deterring potential break-ins and protecting the contents of your vehicle from prying eyes. This added peace of mind can be invaluable for those who frequently park their cars in public areas. In conclusion, investing in high-quality car window tints is a smart decision that offers a range of practical benefits, from UV protection and glare reduction to temperature regulation and improved security. Whether you're looking to enhance the appearance of your vehicle or prioritize the safety and comfort of your driving experience, car window tints are a worthwhile investment that I highly recommend. ... show more

  • HORRIBLE PACKAGING
First off - the is a NON RETURNABLE product through Amazon, so if you have issues, you'll need to contact True Line, which is a web form, and after several hours, I haven't even received an auto reply back, so I have no idea if they even got my message. There was no protective tube around the roll, and the shipping box was very slightly bent during shipping, but just that small damage the shipping box caused the films come out of the box with creases already. That's a huge problem if you ever used tint film before. Also, they appear to be unevenly cut (the back window films were different top to bottom - one was correct and one was at 2" longer than it needed to be) The front windows appear to be too long front to back so will almost certainly need trimming - which is absurd for precut. Also, there are companies selling pre-cut tints that are effectively pre-shrunk (the pattern takes into account the contouring of the glass). These are definitely NOT those. I'd give them 3 stars overall if not for the packaging problem that will almost certainly make these unusable - and what appears to be an unnecessarily difficult return/replace process. ... show more

  • Not the best product, great customer service.
Want to start off this review with a little background here. I've worked in a couple print shops as a graphic designer and have probably above average experience with vinyl and tint. Don't get me wrong, I'm no pro. But I've successfully tinted a couple vehicles before. Those tint jobs have both held up for 1+ years, with the second one on its 3rd year with no issues. We're talking about AutoZone tint here too. At first glance I thought this kit was pretty solid, I was actually really impressed with the QC sheet inserted with the film. Installation kit itself is phenomenal. Tint however, at first glance felt a little thin. First attempt, we did hit a snag with our rear window shape being a little too small, we tried to make it work but it didn't turn out well, tried heating it. (Gently) and it failed almost instantly. Seller sent us a new back piece and covered the cost. Second piece didn't go as planned either. Same issue, no elasticity either. I mean none. I cut my losses and left the back window installed looking like garbage until we can get some more money aside for this project. (Now ~$150 in) Recently one of the windows also started pulling up. Not sure why exactly. Hadn't had any issues for a couple weeks after the install. Tried to fix it and it seems like the adhesive has completely failed. I'm now concerned the remaining windows will start to fail as well. I took a gamble with these guys and learned it wasn't a solid solution for me. Their customer service was great, but the product just doesn't match that service unfortunately. The film is simply just too thin & has no elasticity to it. I'm writing this review to help others save some money. As when it's all said and done, we'll probably be $300+ into this job and at that rate we could've had it tinted professionally. In hindsight, AutoZone (Gila) tint would have been a better option, with better quality and lower cost too. But I would've had to cut it myself. Will be reaching out to customer service to see what our options are with them. Update*** After talking with the seller they did go ahead and actually refund us the full amount of our order, which was pretty cool. As you can see in the picture, this is the day after the car was finished being tinted. All the side windows look good, we didn't show the back, but I will post it. At this point the kit is still on the car, but both the back drivers side window and the front passengers side window have started to peel, the back hatch is still a wrinkled mess - however the front drivers side glass and rear passengers side glass (as well as the porthole glass pieces in the rear cargo area) have held up pretty well. Another thing ever noticed is the film doesnt in fact reduce any heat, but does interfere with the radio signals of mobile devices. GPS predominantly. The company was solid and I feel they did their part and took care of us, their service combined with a higher quality product could be a powerful solution to many issues consumers face within the tint world. ... show more
