This was an unexpectedly large box of 24 individually wrapped very large tablets. This is a one size fits nobody in terms of usage. The directions are to use one tablet per machine to be descaled which means that the concentration will vary greatly since drip coffee machines, single serve coffee machines, various types of espresso machines, etc., all have differing water tank volumes. The tablet does dissolves quickly. Something that the instructions fail to mention is that any filter should be removed from the machine. This may be a good time to replace the filter. Word of caution – use of descalers that are not approved by manufacturer may invalidate the warranty of the machine. This seems to work but it would require disassembly of the machine including the boiler to determine how well this product works although that applies to any descaler. Had to leave the Amazon requested rating for flavor blank – I am not going to drink this and if there is any residual flavor after use then that means that the coffee machine did not brew enough plain water after descaling. ... show more

It smells great, its super easy to use with the included English directions and only works as slow as your coffee pot! Seriously! Fill it up, drop in the tablet, start it. Its that easy! It removes all of the icky impurities in your water.. rust, lime, scale. It cleans all the small internal parts we cant even get to without breaking the machine. I like that this is easy to use for me. Doesn’t take a lot to figure out how to use it at all. It clears out all the gross scale and such that can clog up a coffee maker and makes it run like new again. Doesn’t smell awful like the vinegar I tried with my last one. God it was awful. This just runs through so easy. I don’t know about how anyone else uses it but I also run a couple of empty water cups through after to clean out any cleaner residue “just in case” cause I’m a bit OCD but I also have some to my mom to use on hers and she just used cleaner then made a coffee the next time and said she couldn’t taste anything left over. So it’s probably fine to do it either way if you’re not like me about it lol. I will absolutely be buying this again so that I don’t end up having to replace another coffee maker from my kids getting it clogged up with their hot cocoa again 🤦♀️. ... show more
