  • Heavy Duty
Size: 357cc 30"
I have used this product, 30", for 3 winters now. I bought it when I had a 455' driveway and went to a 90' driveway. It worked great for both. I think the machine is a bit of overkill here in southern WI but I was happy to have it this past winter. It will easily blow the snow 30' which is about how far my neighbor's driveway is. It fairly easily even cleaned out the heavy slushy/icy stuff at the end of the driveway after the plow fills our driveway back in. The electric start is easy to use and I haven't yet had it not start, except last winter after leaving it all summer in the shed AND forgetting to drain the gas before putting it in said shed. There is really only 1 thing I don't like about it....Troy Bilt, I hope you're listening. This machine runs on gasoline, that means there is a lot of vibration. I don't know what the thing on the end of the chute is that determines the angle the snow comes out is, but you really need to making that some kind of geared mechanism. No matter what angle I set it for it ends up at the max setting after a few seconds. I had 2 work arounds: 1. A bungee cord hooked just at the right tension to keep it at that angle but when I needed to change it meant attempting to find the right tension again was tough. 2. It turns out that once you get the auger and drive going you only need to hold down the auger one to keep both moving, then I would use the other hand to control the angle. Neither of these is a great solution and some type of geared or non slip/locking cable mechanism would be an idea. There is probably an even better idea out there. ... show more

  • Powerful and easy to use
Size: 243cc 26"
I am a 57 yo woman and I've never used a snow blower before. I found troy-bilt storm 2625 to be easy to use. The forward and reverse gears work smoothly and powered through 8 inches of snow in fact the machine seems to eat up the snow. I was very happy to be able to clear my driveway by myself. The electric start was very easy to use. I am looking forward to the next snow storm! ... show more

  • When there is heavy snow this is the snowblower you want!
Size: 357cc 30"
This product is rated number one by Consumer Reports. It is awesome. The electric start makes starting a breeze. The manual start with the primer bulb was very easy too. The key is this snowblower can move 18" heavy wet snow and easily throw it 20 to 30 feet. The transmission has 7 forward and 2 backward speeds. One week after arrival we have our first set of storms. I was able to clear our 1600 foot driveway plus my neighbors in 90 minutes thanks to the 30 inch auger. My only wish is that I bought it sooner. It is well worth the money to know that you will never be snowed in again. ... show more

  • Great machine!
Size: 357cc 30"
This machine has lots of power and really cuts through the deep snow with ease. Electric start feature is nice, though I don't use it much. Pull starts on second pull everytime. Controls work well and positioned for ease of operation. Overall a great machine.

  • Not a good start!
Size: 357cc 30"
Had trouble from unpacking the unit. The unit comes pretty much put together, except I ran into a problem/missing parts. During shipping, the snow blower comes with the Handle Bar in the down position. When you unfold the handle to the upright position, you have 2 Wing nuts and 2 screws on top. That's great, but you also need 2 Carriage screws and 2 lock nuts on the lower end of the assembly. Look at the Owners Manual Form 769-10807, Page 6, Figures 2-2 and 2-5. I explained my Issue to Customer Service, 1 picture shows it doesn't need bottom Carriage screws and nuts, and another picture shows I need the Carriage screws and nuts. Can you believe that Troy-Bilt will not send me 2 Screws and Nuts? With only having the top 2 Wing nuts and screws secured, the handle Bar moves back and forth. Once I get the machine running, the vibration alone will loosen those 2 Wing nuts. When you go and buy this unit, go to Home Depot and spend less than $5.00 to get the Carriage screws and Lock nuts. I'll write again once I get oil, gas and get it up and running. Wish me Luck! Very CHEESY! ... show more
