I have old great contemporary style furniture. Cost more than a car (even in its day). It's Baker. Can't replace it -it is saggy -I needed help. THIS IS IT...YES IT WORKS. YOU CAN CUT IT IF NECESSARY TO FIT HOWEVER-placed the foam under the seat cushion area. Placed it a few inches closer to the back so it would NOT show in the front visually. Just crazy that it perfectly fixed the sag. I ordered 6 foam corrective pads for my two couches and 2 additional foam pads for the chairs. They are offered in 3's or 2's. I like these in foam ONLY (not covered in fabric) as my choice. It doesn't budge/no slipping. It is hidden. No color shows from under the cushion. It solved the problem!!! I am so impressed with what I found on Amazon. Wow...This furniture is older that most Amazon shoppers and it looks great now. ... show more

I have an older reclining sofa where one sitting area has broken down and gotten soft from being sat in regularly. Unfortunately, this sofa does not have removable cushions (if it did, I would have simply replaced the cushion material), so I can't place this support under the cushion. I do have a cover on the sofa, so I placed this support on top of the cushion, but under the cover. What a difference! I was concerned when I opened the package, as the support didn't feel very firm. I let it air/expand for 24 hours before using it. When I sat I was very surprised at how firm it feels. To be honest, almost too firm. My only complaint is how the middle is higher than the edges, which slope downwards (trapezoidal shape). It feels a little unbalanced when sitting on it. Would be better if it was all one thickness, or at least a shorter amount of slope. Otherwise this is well worth the price. I was looking at buying a new sofa, but now I think I can hold onto this one for a few more years. ... show more

I thought this would work for me but apparently, I am trying to fix a different problem. It's the actual cushion and not the couch. I don't have a sagging couch just terrible cushions. I installed it anyway and it seems to help some. Unfortunately, it is very noticeable and shows because the couch isn't sagging. If you have that problem, I think this would work well. I like that the middle part is higher which is where you would need more support ... show more

I ordered this in hopes of boosting the firmness of my oversized chair cushion. The middle of the cushion is starting to get soft and sag a little. I placed this under the failing part and while it has helped, I don't have confidence it will be a lasting result. The foam this support is made from isn't very dense, and I think it will wear down over time. As it stands right now, it DID give a bit of support, but it's not what I was hoping for. ... show more
