  • Pricey but Worth it!
Style: High Chair Color: Natural
I had this highchair in my cart for a while, just trying to get up the courage to spend that much on it. Let me say that it is totally worth it. We had the Munchkin 360 highchair before this one, and my daughter just didnt seem comfortable in that one. She would slide down, fall to the side, and her feet couldn't touch the foot bar. With the Stokke high chair, she is able to have the 90 degree angle at her knees and hips and have perfect back support! This is crucial with using the Baby Led Weaning method for solids. I also love the way it looks, and find that it is not so gaudy looking like many high chairs you see. It takes up minimal space and is even able to slide under our island to be out of the way when we are not using it. The only con I really have with it, is price, and all the add-ons (like the tray) are pricey as well. ... show more

  • Promotes independence
Style: Chair Color: Hazy Grey
Absolutely the best product ever… incredibly expensive. However our 2.5 year old eats with us. Asks for second helpings and says all done when she’s done eating. I wonder if the chair contributes to better eating?? (Albeit the division of responsibility does- ask your Pediatrician about it or google it); what the chair offers is independence to get into and off of the chair. We purchased a universal buckle strap with padding that goes around her waist. She eats with us at the table and we just place the variety of food on her plate, with a couple toddler friendly options that she chooses and trust her when it comes to eating. She does the rest. And IT IS SUCH A BETTER EATING EXPERIENCE for everyone. I recommend this chair and love it so much our baby has the complete baby chair also! I wish I knew of this sooner. I feel the crummy high chair we used to have is the reason why our daughter had difficulty at meal times. She’d have her feet up on the high tray, she definitely appeared uncomfortable and we believe this is why she had difficulty eating. She always wanted to “get out” so to speak… her feet dangled etc. If you’re on the fence line, I’d say at least trial it! They have the 90 day return window and I’m confident you’ll end up keeping it like we did! ... show more

  • straps are the worst if you aren’t patient
Style: High Chair, Cushion & Stokke Tray Color: Natural with Nordic Grey
i think for those who really care about aesthetics and is willing to forgo an easy user experience for functionality, this is the chair for them. the design is cute and i like that it grows with baby and can be used ‘til adulthood. however, i must say there are a few things that are terribly designed and not made to be logically and easily functional. the straps you have to exercise patience to adjust the straps. they do not glide easily through the buckle and can only be adjusted a little at a time. to release the front buckle is also difficult because the area to press is very small. the tray taking the tray out is difficult. there is a little tab under the tray that you need to press in order to pull it off, but its location and lack of room to place your finger to put any pressure is also another reason this chair is more about aesthetics than functionality. i am petite with small fingers and i have to use two hands to press the tab. :( footplate and chair height and finally, in order to adjust the footplate you have to loosen the screws on one side of the chair to pull out the footplate and move it to a different groove. this is also annoying but i suppose you don't need to do this very often so it just depends on your patience. overall, if you want an aesthetically pleasing chair that has the merits of being able to last through adulthood and looks cute in your space, this is a good chair. it’s also recommended by solid starts because it does help baby sit up properly. and once you make the right adjustments for the straps and footplate, you only need to change it every few months as baby grows. so the frustration to aesthetically pleasing ratio may be justified. but if you're someone who wants a chair that is easily adjustable on a regular basis, then this chair will annoy the crap out of you and you're better off looking for a different product. i’m keeping this chair because the value of being able to keep it for long-term outweighs the annoyance of having to adjust it every few months. and once baby is old enough to not need straps, it’ll be one less annoying thing to adjust. however, the poor user experience is why I gave this 3 stars. ... show more

  • Love the whitewash color
Style: High Chair Color: Whitewash
The whitewash isn’t at all what I expected, but I love it. It’s as if they took the natural wood stained chair and put a watered down white on top. Some reviewers said it has a slightly pink hue. I was expecting a white chair with grey tones, but this is lovely.

  • Get a smooth tray
Style: High Chair, Cushion & Stokke Tray Color: Natural with Nordic Grey
The tray which attaches to the high chair wasn't really smooth so a lot of the toys designed to stick to high-chair trays (distract the kids while you're eating!) do not actually stick as the surface is not perfectly smooth. It's not rough on the kids hands or anything and is easy to clean, but, there are lots of smooth options for which these toys will work well. ... show more

  • Best high chair!
Style: High Chair Color: Walnut
I absolutely love this high chair! It’s more expensive then the rest, but it’s so worth it to know that my baby is sitting properly to minimize chocking and encourage proper sitting. He’s a bit small for it at 4 months old, but a blanket tucked around his waist gives him enough support to practice sitting in it for now. We got the tray to go with it, but it really is the perfect height to push up to the table. It isn’t an eye sore, looks nice in the dining room and is fairly small in size so doesn’t take up a ton of room. I’m excited for him to continue to use this into toddlerhood and be able to have the independence to get up and down from his chair on his own and be properly heighted at the table for meals with us. I only wish I would’ve bought it with the newborn insert when he was younger. It would’ve been a great place to set him at eye level while in the kitchen and been able to talk and engage easily. It was also very simple to put together. Highly recommend! ... show more
